You nailed it. Tony Balogna, newsflash there isn’t anything in the constitution that says the president must be treated with deference either. The president is a public SERVANT. Get that through your thick head. The constitution limits the government not the people. All you have is unsubstantiated assertions and insults. In any debate, the parties are equal. That is the whole point of the debate. Put them on a LEVEL playing field and let the best man win- which was clearly Romney in both debates. To be deferential to any opponent is an insult to his worthiness as an opponent. No only that, Romney needed to assert himself to get something close to equal time because Candy was clearly part of the MSM shameless bias and she was pulling out all the stops. I actually felt sorry for Obama that she had to stick up for him- even when he was wrong. That is when you know you are losing big. No one cried foul when Gore the bore was rude to Bush. The most ridiculous part of the whole article was the “if the situation was reversed” thing because we all know if the situation were reversed we would never hear the end of how the president had been racist towards his opponent. The left controls are the hysteria lines so it isn’t as if they ever have to worry about “never hearing the end” of anything ever. That is a privilege enjoyed by the liberal press and the liberal press alone. Their mass hysteria is a death song if I ever heard one.

@Pigpen, If we do not support Israel then God has promised to turn His back on us. I am sure you have an answer for it, but if you truly believe the Bible to be the pure truth then you must admit there is plenty of Biblical evidence to support my claim. Ignore it at your peril. I don’t care. I am siding with the people of my Lord. I know that your ”picture” isn’t you. I wondered two things seeing that photo: 1) How would their parents feel? (I don’t know, I just wonder because I doubt they are anti-semtic.) 2) And if anyone else recognizes the images and knows the significance.

@ AshestoAshes- This piece isn’t reactionary as you seem to have assumed. This was done years before any of the famous Moslem baiting films or cartoons. This guy just really hates Christians and wants to offend us. Plus sacrilege gets grants and awards: sacrilege against Christians only of course. Anything else would be hate speech. Sacrilege against Christians and our faith is always cutting edge even after it has become a modern cliche. Soon it will a convention of art.

No, God isn’t all love and forgiveness. Mercy is definitely one of His strong points but I think this artist is going to answer for this if he refuses to repent.

LogicisYourFriend, There is no hypocrisy in asking the president to denounce this ”art work” which is clearly anti-Christain if he is going to denounce ”art work” that is anti Moslem. Even though apologizing was clearly wrong, if he apologizes and denounces this anti- Christian art work then he will at least be seen as fair which of course he isn’t. You seem to think it is good that at least people still can say some things but that is akin to being told what to say. If you can’t understand that, then logic is not your friend. Logic left you long ago.
