  Can we try to remember that at the heart of this story is a dog that was in pain and suffering. She cannot say she loved the dog and allow that to happen. I uderstand that she could not afford an expensive surgery, but she could afford to put the animal out of it’s pain. Please don’t compare welfare reform to cruelty to animals. Cruelty is cruelty, no matter the income. If you cannot afford the care, you cannot afford the animal. Do the right thing. This woman is cruel and inhumane, she deserves what she gets!

  I do not understand why anyone thinks that this guy will not get a trial, or why anyone on the right is taking away his rights. I guess, as usual, they take the low road and try to argue a strawman. And for the record, if this guy had been a “right-wing extremest”, we would be fighting just as hard to put him away!! It’s only the left who rush to protect the violent ones!

  Can we try to remember that a man is dead and that his family is hurting? This sad situation is not the fault of the NRA, NASCAR or guns. Gun control does not reduce suicide. Perhaps a little more empathy for each other, and a little less heartless use of dead bodies to push an agenda will help save lives!
