Some people get lost in thought because it is unfamiliar territory.

Sad that this vile creature looks forward to these types of events….if it weren’t for gun tragedies, he’d be even more irrelevant. Deport Piers Morgan!

Who wants to bet that the Gun Control…oops, I mean Gun Safety… peeps will be all over this.
AND, who wants to be the gun is owned illegally (proving gun laws don’t stop criminals from owning guns).

As a CA conceal carry permit holder, I can tell you that, for the most part the increase in applications is due to people becoming more educated, coupled with the decreased budgets of most of our law enforcement agencies (less cops on the road).
Sheriffs in the Golden State are typically conservative, constitution protecting individuals (as they are in most states)….so if you can’t get a CCW approved from your city’s police department, you can always apply through the county sheriff (which is what I did).
The only thing worse than not have a CC permit is having a CC permit and not carrying because your conceal holster is too uncomfortable. I have a whole dresser drawer full of conceal carry holsters that didn't work as advertised or were too uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour or two. Check around. I'm sure there are plenty of folks out there making nice customer holsters these days. The best one I have found I just ran across about 2 months ago. I wear it every day. http://discretedefensesolutions.com/

Colorado, you are on the clock. Please make us proud. Well…we’re already proud. Proud that you followed through and put all legislators on notice — that they are there to represent us, not their party.
I hope that your efforts were not in vain & that these two are successfully recalled. God willing.

It just makes you so happy when you hear about stories like this, I bet.

As the Anti-Gunners start to look for ways to dance on the graves of potential victims, let’s pray that there are none & that everyone is safe.
You are correct and it is stories like this that highlight how wrong Zimmerman was to stalk, confront, agitate, shoot and kill an unarmed kid who was walking to his aunts house in a free country. And nothing about what he looks like or may be involved in outside of the incident should be considered. He was not robbing anyone and certainly did not stalk, confront, agitate and shoot Zimmerman. If one only considers the facts and accepts the reasonable notion you can't claim stand you ground within a conflict you cause. Let's keep in mind that both parties have an equal right to defend themselves. Any actions taken by Zimmerman after he was told by 911 dispatch that they did no need him to follow Martin is indicative of his being responsible for the death of an unarmed, innocent kid. At the end of the day intelligent, caring and righteous individuals value human life above their guns and the right to use them to truly defend themselves and their property. It is rather sad that cowardly people consider what otherwise would be public property something they have a right to aggressively defend because they live in a "gated" community.
@JRook - He was far from innocent and he was killed in self defense. If this had been a black male killing a white male the black male would be our running around with his buds right now. This entire trial is a racist move from the left and the followers of the racists Sharpton and his kind. You are talking out of your butt.
Strider26..to reason with a hatere or fool in foolish.."all the way" Semper Fidelis
Or you really that obtuse as you sound?
HaHa JROOK. It's only losers like you that are still holding on to hope that somehow Martin really was a little kid instead of over 6' tall.
1. His mother kicked him out of her Miami home cause she was tired of his behavior. (Good kids are always getting kicked out by their parents before the age of 18 aren't they?)
2. Facebook entries show he was getting involved with gang-type activity - they reference drugs and guns. (Good kids are always talking about illicit drugs and showing off illegal guns aren't they?)
3. His female friend witness testified his group of friends lived in a culture of racial slurs and extremely offensive language. (All the good kids think that's coolest behavior, don't they?)
4. The Prosecution's case has has fallen apart in the first week - it's lost any merit it may have had. (Good cases fall apart in the first week all the time, don't they?)
Anyone paying attention who still thinks this is a case of murder is so pathetically biased the truth causes them physical pain.

When an officer attempted to calm the crowd by saying “imagine if something happens to you [if I let you in],” a member of the crowd shot back: “Are we children? We’re adults!”
***This is the problem…top down / the government work force is trained to assume that people are too stupid to think for themselves.
Unfortunately that's generally true anymore, however that doesn't mean it's their responsibility for what happens to them.
I'd be in so much trouble if I was in such an area, No one is going to tell me to leave my home under any condition, and I'll back it up with .44 mags and .30-06's. I am not a subject
At least those Canadians understand that they're adults and want to be treated that way. Here South of the border, most of us want desperately for the government to treat us like children.

Wow. That kid does not belong in the same world that we do. Evil sometimes masks itself in “illness”

The 1 BILLION person Gun Free Zone. Sounds like a safe place to be murdered.

Trying to educate my community on the merits of this logic — but living in CA makes that a bit difficult.

To me….I’m not surprised by this whole story at all. I mean….did you all not think that the government was watching our every email…scanning our text messages for keywords…come on, they’ve been doing this for a long time (somebody was just brave enough to give the so called conspiracy theorists some teeth). What I think this is, is a story that’s being hyped, to take our eyes off of the other big scandals that are much more revealing.
Don’t get me wrong…I’m outraged by all of them…and no longer (not since 2001) trust my government.
