Oh, the irony. Many of the posters here whine about cyclists riding two or three abreast and partially blocking or slowing their traffic lane, but here’s a vehicle STOPPED and completely blocking the bike lane, and they think it’s OK, and just tell the cyclists to “go around”.
But worst of all is the cop flashing his badge and immediately going all thug.

Those collapsible batons they’re using, it is a FELONY for Joe Citizen to even own one in CA (while a concealed handgun is just a misdemeanor). Too bad, I thought one would be great to carry while walking my dog. And they are surprisingly heavy-duty, you could do a lot of damage with one.
Chea...you're so much cooler than those guys. HA!...

No. It’s a wireless mic, you can see the backpack when she turns around. Even if it were a wired mic, the case of the microphone itself is always connected to ground via the shield in the cable.

Blaze, please stop giving us Vines and calling them videos. I mean what are they, animated GIFs? Like 15 year old technology? Plus, I have to have AdBlocker Plus and Ghostery running to deal with all of the CR@P that you insist on pumping out of your site, maybe that’s what keeps the Vines from running.
Simple YouTube links will suffice. Please leave the video to folks who know what they are doing.
Hey dude, Start living America and not America’s results.

Kinda old for pixellated superheroes, maybe?

I’m OK with vets calling out people pretending to be vets. But how about this? Suppose I put on a set of plain ole fatigues, because I am going to go play paintball. No patches, insignias, or anything, just camo pants and jacket? Not begging or misrepresenting, just wearing camo. Is that the sort of thing a vet is going to get indignant about? Not that I’m actually planning on doing this, just curious.
Its not a problem at all. The problem comes when you wear patches or medals and haven't earned them. When you claim to have been there and done that when in reality you haven't. That's why it's STOLEN Valor.
No problem at all wearing cammies for paintball. I’ve given a few sets to my teenage relatives for that very purpose. I just remove the patches that have my name and U.S. Marines on them. Those have to be earned, in my opinion.
Exactly what I was wondering. Vets I have spoken to say most patches on the arms do not make it a "uniform."
The guy 2 months or so ago which had a name on the front, and US patch, and medals on his breast, etc - that's a uniform and I'm fine with some hulk like this ripping it off of him.
But just the camo... there was no evidence of any names, insignia, medals, etc on the front or back, just an ROTC patch on the shoulder - that is NOT a uniform.
This droid maxx went way overboard.
Again from what I've been told it's NOT a uniform.

Agreed, it is without a doubt the most polluted P.O.S. web site I visit. BUT, if you’re using Firefox, there is a default setting for Flash, I don’t recall exactly, but it is something like “secure mode”. Whatever it is, you can do a search to find out, it is easy to defeat, and after that the videos play much, much better.
I almost stopped coming to this site because it worked so poorly, but it is better now.

I can answer that for you. Cops have a way of losing and/or ignoring evidence. I know this from first-hand experience (with a dashcam, no less). Better to go home and make a copy, and submit it later. A simple assault case will wait. If they were looking for a child abductor or something, different case, of course.

Wise County, Where? Remember the five W’s of journalism, Who What Where When, and Why? Sheesh…
Of course at the end I was clued in by the reference to the news station that this was the Dallas/Fort Worth area. But any website (including newspapers, TV, and radio stations should keep in mind that people from all over the WORLD are viewing their content. Fill in the blanks, please!
Kel, the first picture is your clue to where it took place, or did you not see the Texas flag?
Kel, Actually, it's four W's and an H of journalism...who, what, where, when, and how. Too often there is no good "why" for many crimes other than someone losing their mind, and often the why is never adequately explained.

Hmmm, the same Samuel L. Jackson who played a racist cop in “Lakeview Terrace”?:
Not really. A squeegie doesn't have enough mass to really be dangerous. Unless someone just happened to be looking up and got hit directly in the eye or something then a squeegie isn't going to pose any real danger.
ANYthing falling at terminal velocity is capable of causing injury. For a squeegee to work, it has to be a lot more than a thin piece of rubber. I have never met a squeegee that I would want dropped on my head from the roof of my one story home, much less 20 to 120 stories!
