  This was argued at our original constitutional convention, without a real conclusion. There were those, including Mr. Pinkney of Georgia who argued that since the federal union was voluntary for the states, they had the implied right to secede from it at will.

  The injuries indicate that the agent used is Mustard Gas, first used in WWI in France. It has also been used in the Iran-Iraq war. Nasty stuff, but survivable. First aid is simply washdown with water and a little soap, followed by a rinse, then paint the affected areas with vaselene. A mild lubricant eye ointment is also helpful.

  This is like taking a picture of a friend who is across a lake, and a fly is between you and your friend. If your depth of focus is great enough the fly will appear quite large in your photo because it is a lot closer to you than your friend.

  I suspect this is simply a satellite in geosynchronous orbit between the camera and the sun, and a lot closer to the camera.
