Unfortunately you aren’t helping anyone at all by giving them money. All you are doing is encouraging their behavior and more people to follow. If you really want to help them go out and buy them a book or two about getting their life together. They’ll probably sell it.

This is why the minimum wage is a joke. I’d gladly hire this guy at $4 an hour to copy and paste emails or whatever all day and replace the people in India I have doing it. But at $9 an hour, why would I? I can’t trust this guy any more than I can trust the Indians and I certainly couldn’t give him any more work than I do the Indians so why hire him? Because I’m “supposed to hire Americans”…no thanks.

Now if I could get this guy in at $4 and he’s on time every day, learns my business and does well, he’d be at $50,000 a year in under 3 months. But they don’t let us do that so it’s ODesk all the way!

I don’t know if he’s innocent or guilty. I don’t think any of us do. But I think it’s within reason to question it. The only thing we know is what the media is telling us.

Like I said to a friend the other day, I don’t question 9/11 because I watched planes fly into buildings. But if the media broke in after the buildings were down and gave us the story, I’d question it because it seems pretty unbelievable unless you actually saw it happen.

The same thing is true here. There has to be a video of the guy putting the backpack down then the backpack exploding. There is no way that can’t be on camera. For 100% proof, I want to see that.

Matt Barnaby used to do the same thing every game. He did it during fights too. Ott is a character. One of those players who you hate to play against but love having on your team. He’s a lot like Avery without the “fashion model” thing.

How come we can’t see what happened leading up to this? I could be wrong but I highly doubt the guy just decided it was a great day to jump out of his car and start threatening some random person.

This to me looks like one of those “piss him off until he retaliates then pretend we didn’t do anything and record him” deals.

Before passing judgement on the Marine we should know what caused him to do what he did.
