  On Reality shows…I was on the “American Pickers” the Civil War one, They came down to our Civil War camp in the morning. Mike is much like he always is…he walked in and asked for a cup of coffee from a tin cup. He wore my Confederate Cap. Frank was cool as well, but he was on the other side that day. Yes there was a camera crew, a sound guy and others with clip boards and all, and when they saw something cool they had us do it again from another angle, but in the end you saw it as it happened..but planed.. so far as “now we will go do the battle”. I also with my unit the 12th NJ were in the Destination Truth “Jersey Devil” episode and Ryder and Josh and crew were all that were there and again it just happened. Very cool people. D. D is great and I see how it is shot. So no more fake than the camera didn’t catch a cool thing so they would have you do it over..Like making Gettysburg or Glory just bigger so it took longer.

  Have to say that I learned from Beck about the Black robed brigade and how from the pulput they incouraged men to pick up their guns and fight for liberty…Just saying…I always remember that preacher from “Drums along the Mohawk” the one with Henry Fonda, when before marching out he told them to go do their duty to God and country. Throughout our history we see brave chaplains standing behind their troops.. blessing guns and flags..and giving last rights….Father Corby at Gettysburg. etc. We call it Delifornia here, and I am glad to be moving out of it in a month.

  I just read that Mark Kelley and his daughters were walking a bull dog 65 lbs, and this animal which could turn into a weapon if not handled in the right way, broke away from the daughter and grabbed a baby seal who just was hanging out not harming anyone and this monster of a dog tore the poor baby seals throat out, while Mark Kelley shook the dog off the dead pup…and left it there to float away…so lets say all of certain dogs have to be treated special with training courses and all to handle this monster… you know my tongue is in my cheek but you get what I mean …Karma

  Did Washington invade Pa during the Whiskey Rebellion? Did Robert E Lee and Jeb S invade Harpers Ferry to stop the John Brown Revolution? No where in the Constitution does it say states are allowed to secede. You could not even muster a militia unless allowed by Congress. As some forget lot’s of people down South did not want this..see East Tenn. etc. I would like to ask since we had had mostly southern presidents what other than the decision of being a free or Slave state were issues that would interfere with a states rights…? So it was about the State Right to have slavery..Kansas Nebraska act. Non Slave owners liked the The Missouri Compromise. This has nothing to do with the heroic, sacrifice made by honorable Souther troops. My point yet another war brought to us by Democrats…lol

  I would like to add that as some have said the this is not the Stars and Bars, correct UnreconstructedLibertarian has the Stars and bars ..field of blue circle of stars, three stripes. The Confederate battle Jack (jack being a square flag) shown by Capt_Gregg. which was used after the battle of Bull Run..or Mananas. At a distance with all the dust and smoke the STARS AND BARS could not be distinguished between that and Old Glory. So the Red Battle Jack.was designed as a regimental marker . The rectangle flag used by the KKK and all is proof some people down south don’t know their own history.. sorry guys.. look at paintings or museums….I blame the war on Democrats when they left after a Republican was elected. How could anyone be a tyrant before he is even in the white house…?
