  • LOL fav part was the meeting discussing carbon footprint and global warming and here he is sitting there with a car!

  • Simple, FedEX and UPS charge $1.75 to mail an envelope compared to the $0.49 USPS. Also FedEX and UPS don’t have to go to congress every time they want to layoff employees, reduce costs, or implement cost saving measures.

  • Lets not over freak out at a camera mounted quadcopter. At public events like these where there’s lots of cameras and various magazines and media outlets all scramming to get the “best view” of the event, a sky cam is an ideal position to get quality shots of the crowd size and an unobtrusive view of the event.

Football has a goodyear blimp doing sky cam, it wouldn’t be long before news stations pick up on this remote camera operator for doing on site arial coverage rather than calling in the news chopper just to get an arial shot of an event.

Besides, how many amateur photographers put cameras on weather balloons and rockets to get a few high altitude snapshots?

  • Ah yes…. Private school or home schooling. That will protect them from reality and the world around them.

  • Folks, this isn’t the 1950′s anymore. In two years these 11 year olds will be sexting each other and experimenting with different types of sex, Ask yourself, at what age did YOU start becoming sexually aware and curious? For females from my generation, sexuality starts around age 13. It was common for some to loose their virginity before 14. I was an early bloomer myself at age 12.

Have any of you parents talked sex to your kids? or are you just putting off the conversation until you get looking into your child’s web history or picture messages?

  • The sun is huge, and looking at the relation of the object to the sun, that thing would be about the size of planet earth…..

  • Well shoot. I lack empathy too. I don’t sympathize with people at all and have a heart of a cold stone.

I do however believe in facts, statistics, and reality of human nature. Emotion isn’t something I want to see in a leader, I want to see vision, a plan, and an understanding of the world around him.

Part of Obama’s lack of empathy is his lack of roots. I don’t think he recalls growing up poor or what it’s like having to work for a living. He never had a job that wasn’t funded by tax payers, his role-models are all american hating socialists, and he can’t seem to grasp that other people have different opinions.

I don’t care if Obama can’t empathize with me, but he’s pretty darn stubborn in doing things I don’t want him to do, or recognize that this IS America and not Europe..

  • Actually, if you apply for a job, or even score a job interview (no guarantee that you obtain the job or be employed more than 2 months) you can loose your unemployment for up to 12 weeks.

Now say you’re on unemployment, been on it for 3 weeks as you’ve been spamming resumes everywhere. A hiring agency says “hey, we got temporary work, i’ts over the summer and only a 3 month long stint”. You take it for work is work. First day on the job you loose your unemployment (which happens to pay almost as much as working), but that doesn’t matter you have a job. At the end of 3 months you’re back to being unemployed. But since you accepted work, and off the unemployment dole, it is hassle and workarounds to get back on. You are being punished for finding work. Meanwhile you have 0 money coming in as you search yet again for another job.

This is the main reason why people who have been on unemployment for 2 years almost don’t bother looking for a job because they know that government will punish them for trying. It’s easier to just leech off the government dole than risk being homeless on the streets all because you tried and failed.

  • These Are The 10 Worst Jobs For 2012

    April 13, 2012 at 3:25pm

    In reply to samnjoeysgrama.

While points are all valid on military being the worse job.

I wouldn’t include it in a list because the military serves a tremendous role to the country who’s purpose of being a soldier outweighs all the negatives when it comes down to preserving America’s freedom and making the world a safer place.

It may be the worse job in the world, but one of the most needed and respected.

  • LOL you don’t use hydrochloric acid, you use Lye. Works just as well plus can be used to clean out clogs in pipes
