  • I Just Called the Temple Texas Police Chief to complain about this gross injustice. ( Chief Gary Smith on 254-298-5500) He is obviously hiding behind his secretary’s skirt. She gave me the email police@ci.temple.tx.us This sounds like a general email and not one directly to the Chief! Please everyone call and light up the switch board and send emails! Also, send a letter to Governor Rick Perry stating that as a Texas resident you will not tolerate this behavior. If possible, use this video to share with gun manufacturers wanting to move to Texas and tell them to go somewhere else,The Loss of revenue always gets there attention These abusive Jerks need to be fired!

  • BUMFUZLED, if you are going to make a comment, please make sure you have your facts correct. Warren Jeffs was not LDS, he was FLDS. There is a BIG difference, although many try to claim they are the same.

  • I am trying to understand what is the purpose of this fight. Why are homosexuals so bent on being leaders in the Boy Scouts? I believe that someone who is gay should be allowed to earn their merit badges and participate in Boy Scouts, but his sexuality should never even be mentioned. Boy Scouts is about merit and service not whether you are gay or not.

What I am truly confused about is why homosexual leaders? If they are gay, then do they have children in Boy Scouts? I would imagine that few homosexual men have sons in Boy Scouts, although I know that can be the case. It should be more of an argument if a parent that happens to be gay and wants to be a leader, what is the right thing to do. I truly don’t know what is right or not, but I know I am sick of the “gay fight” for this or that. It never seems to be genuine, and only has a political agenda. Therefore I tend to want to fight back. I also agree with comment that this will lead to transgender, transsexual, etc. being allowed. Why can’t Boy Scouts just be that…Boy Scouts!

It is hard for most people to be doing “guy” things when they imagine that other “guys” or men might be attracted to them. They aren’t supposed to have to worry about that, especially at the age these boys start in to scouts.
