  • Despite this guy possibly referring to Christ as a zombie, and totally missunderstanding what “looking for the living among the dead” means, I have another complaint…

Since the author is more focused on zombie lore than actual Scripture, then I will focus on zombie lore. Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later was not a story about dead peolpe returning to life and feasting on the living. It is a story about infected people losing it and attacking others. NOT A ZOMBIE FILM. Thus, neither is its sequel.

Simple case of a person who compares 2 things with one another without actually knowing much about either of them.

  • To quote my Dad, “Everybody in Hollywood’s living in a bubble.”

This story just supports Pop’s opinion. Keep on talking, Hollywood, there are still some people who are interested in what you have to say.

  • PDW – I agree with what you have said to me. But what you have said to me isn’t in violation of Christ’s teachings nor Paul’s instructions in The Epistles. This guy has characteristics of a false profit and his rhetoric is a stumbling block to those who need guidance from someone who has something that they do not. Every witnessing event should take place from Jesus’ veiwpoint (or as close as we can get, humanly speaking), not the Christian’s personal standpoint and certainly not the lost person’s. If you witness to the lost from a lost person’s point of veiw, what are you offering that they need? They already have what you do if that is the case. Witnessing is in actions more than words anyway.

I understand the need to relate to the person, even the ability to identify is vital, but moving all the way to approval of the lost mentality isn’t going to help either party. And a Christian who makes the statements that this guy does regarding Christ, such as we don’t need Him as LORD, we don’t need Him at the center of our emotions and being (heart), et al. are representative of someone who doesn’t understand the messege of The Gospel. Like I said before, I don’t know his intentions, but he is dangerous.

  • Interesting at best. After the huge expose on “Ask the Atheist” and this guy’s 2 articles, I’m beginning to wonder about The Blaze’s intentions. I’m waiting on “Ask the Cristian.” Or even “Ask the Muslim.”

Some of the points this guy makes are good, but most reveal an anti-Christian agenda.

  • Jesus nor Ron Paul can win the 2012 presidential election. I will never be able to change the electorial process. No one will, except a dangerously idealistic dictator. Which is what we could have if obama wins again. Alternative – vote for Romney. I know he is “obama lite,” but the focus should be on “lite.”

We’re never going to have someone with the same set of morals that we personally want from someone, but to make the assertion that Romney is as bad as or worse than obama, is to deny the history of both people. All we have to do is take the candidates for what they have done. They both flip-flop to which ever political view is expediant for the time. One, however, is a freaking COMMUNIST. He should be tried for treason, not reelected.

One is a Mormon. I don’t agree with it. But the other, well I don’t know what the other is.

As far as voting for the lesser of 2 evils goes, there are no clear cut good guys people. If you are voting at all, you are voting for the lesser of 2 evils. We are all sinners. Heck, the voters are evil by their physical nature. Some are evil by their spiritual nature as well. So to believe in some super do gooder politician is to believe in fantasy.

Here’s the skinny – Every Christian needs to be in the voting booth this November. Pray first, study The Word, go in and vote for the candidate that is on your heart. More importantly than that though, every Christian needs to be on his/her knees daily asking for mercy on this nation

  • Wow.

  • This guy can’t be for real. When Christ comes back, which nobody knows when btw, He will not be interested in running for office. At least that’s my take. If we don’t vote for an ACTUAL candidate other than obama, then we are voting for obama. Romney is the opponent. Write-ins don’t work. I don’t like Romney either, but HE ISN’T OBAMA!

  • Oops, posted nothing. Oh well, I guess I’ve done that before, only with actual words and thoughts being expressed.

What I meant to say was that this guy spouts off about what we shouldn’t do and what isn’t in The Bible enough, but he didn’t state a single bit of Scripture to back up anything he said.

Having said that, I agree with point 3. We have no way of knowing that. But this guy’s problem is point 2. If he doesn’t know that, he doesn’t know what Scripture assures us of. Anyone who doesn’t know the answer to point 2, for sure, must not have delved too deeply into the statements made in points 6, 7, and 9.

Don’t know the guy or his intentions, but this theology in and of its self is a huge stumbling block. I will refer to the truth of the statement in point 1, “everything does happen for a reason.” Even deceit and/or ignorance. If there weren’t a reason for everything, then nothing would ever happen.

  • He’s seventeen. Seventeen. He doesn’t know any more now than he did when he was thirteen. Why does anyone care what a teenager says about politics anyway? Listening to children is how we elected a childish president.
