Most likely because the overwhelming majority of players in the NHL aren’t American.

Although even then, there was a rather large backlash when Tim Thomas (who IS American) made statements about his disapproval of Barack Obama.

Good. Let the Identity Politic Kids fight over who gets to be Big Daddy Government’s favorite.

You keep saying that guy looks like Howard Stern, but honestly, he looks MUCH more like Muammar Qaddafi, to me.

    …Yep. That happened.

Poor dude’s going to get mocked and called a furry for the rest of his life, even though he’s not.

    Not really that shocking.

He didn’t have a big man-jaw to begin with, so he was going to turn out more “reasonable” looking than a man who started with a large, jutting jaw.

I don’t think it’s really such a big deal that it warrants “HEY, OMG, LOOK”, really. We as a people need to be less of an in-your-face attention-whoring society.

Because a stronger global Pan-Islamic bloc weakens those who believe in liberty.

We’re going to head into a period where every hero is going to have to be converted to, or replaced by, either a gay version, a transsexual version, or a Muslim version.

But probably not gay and Muslim at the same time.

Note that I have no problem with a comic company wanting to push “diverse” heroes, but I think it’d be better for them to make entirely new characters for that.

As for killing off Parker? He’ll be back. Nobody stays dead in comics.

Please, Lefties. KEEP saying this aloud, everywhere you go. Make it patently obvious to EVERYBODY that you want your opponents imprisoned or killed.

It’s about time that we get to see the real, Gramsci/Fabian-inspired you.

If more wolves also means more foxes (sorry guys, check the username :P), then I’m in support of keeping them alive.

More to the point, if they’re on Federal Land, I get the idea of protecting them.

If they’re on private property (and no longer endangered), maybe not so much.

The Progressive Left finding a way to turn the spread of Islam into a cause celebre spelled the end of human freedom and dignity.

It’s sad that so many people are willing to ignore the brutality and oppression of Islam, just because they’re so eager to see Mujahideen beat, kill, rape, and enslave THEIR enemies.

It’s likely not going to be against Romney, but against Ryan.

And all Allred has to do is MAKE the accusation, and it’s over for Ryan and Romney.

Just trying to boost Obama’s odds on InTrade. Nothing more.

Glenn is pretty off about the themes of Muse’s music. As someone before said, it’s tailor made for a romanticized version of OWS; or what people kept telling us the Arab Spring was supposed to be.

A “Youth Uprising” overthrowing the “old way”.

They may as well be wearing the V For Vendetta Guy Fawkes masks.

He doesn’t want hamburgers. He just wants the owner’s money.

And he’ll get it. And the owner’s car, and the owner’s house.

Remember that even though Farrakhan might not think so, Black Islam is very different from Arab Islam. The Arab Islams would chop off the heads of Screwy Louis and his followers before you could say “Mother Wheel”.

Farrakhan’s mentors, the Fard family, took bits and pieces of Islam and mixed it with their own BS in order to try to frame it as a “Black Justice” movement, the same as David Cone (and his proteges, like Jeremiah Wright) did in turning bits and pieces of Christianity into a “Black Liberation” movement.

Dianetics are just another way for Farrakhan to be able to tell his followers “No, it’s not your fault”, and give them someone/something else to blame so that they never try to think for themselves, and never leave the flock.

Sadly, she’ll fall back in line once her friends begin to excommunicate her.

Bacon offends Muslims, therefore, the UN must ban Bacon.

And Cuban Sandwiches, since those have both roast pork AND ham.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood has been given its marching orders to really push the “Muslim” angle, as to the left, “Muslim” means little more than “Willing and Ready Army Willing to Eliminate Christianity For Good”
