  • None other than our buffoon of a Vice President, Joe Biden. He is the one that wrote and sponsored the legislation that instilled our so-called “gun free zones.” Now, do you understand why he’s so gun control?? He wouldn’t dare admit that his legislation did nothing but make the situation worse!

  • He was 19 years old at the time this happened, in 1968, and in the Navy. So, juvenile laws wouldn’t apply to this case.

  • He was 19 when this incident happened. Juvenile law wouldn’t apply.

  • This is a clear case of ex post facto law being applied: An ex post facto law (Latin for “from after the action” or “after the fact”), also called a retroactive law, is a law that retroactively changes the legal consequences (or status) of actions that were committed, or relationships that existed, before the enactment of the law. In criminal law, it may criminalize actions that were legal when committed; it may aggravate a crime by bringing it into a more severe category than it was in when it was committed; it may change the punishment prescribed for a crime, as by adding new penalties or extending sentences; or it may alter the rules of evidence in order to make conviction for a crime likelier than it would have been when the deed was committed. However, ex post facto laws are expressly forbidden by the United States Constitution in Article 1, Section 9, Clause 3. So, he’s got a fight to prove that this is an illegal application of penalty… he’s still got room to get his rights back.

  • Liberal education system. NEA is the UNION that dictates the curriculum being taught in ALL public schools. That’s the reason why NEA forces all teachers in our education system to be members of it, to ensure that compliance is maintained. We need to get rid of all UNIONS in the public sector (as well as many private sectors) because they are what is tearing our country apart. Unions came into being as a result of Mafia interference. Look at the history of unions, and you will see the Mafia connection. They still have control.

  • Those of you questioning why the husband refers to “her kids”, and not “ours”… ever occur to you that maybe this is 2nd marriage for her, and the twins are from the first marriage… in which case, how he stated it is correct. Jeesshhh. All the questioning over how he refers to her children.

Bottom-line is, she did it correctly. She tried to avoid using lethal force, by trying to hide herself and her children in the attic crawlspace. Obviously, this guy was searching for her, because if he was just looking to burglarize the house, he wouldn’t have accessed the attic crawlspace. So, when she was at the point of no place to go, she didn’t hesitate. Even the sheriff was proud of her for going by the book. She’s not going to jail over it, she’s not going to be sued over it. Georgia is a pro-gun state.

  • CivilWarCometh, read this, and you figure out if Ted Nugent is right or not… http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/print-friendly/52005

  • 13A, it depends on which state you live in. Some states, like Montana and Tennessee, do have the 10th Amendment limitations on it, where you can buy a gun, as long as it’s made in that state, and kept in that state for use. More and more states are looking to institute this legislature, as a go-around the federal laws.

I don’t know if the Scar H lower receiver is registerable, or not. You will have to undergo a background check, and fill out a BATF 4473, plus a transfer fee for your local FFDL, if you don’t have a firearms dealer license. I know about this, because I was just notified by a friend of mine that a friend of his is getting a deal on the lower receivers for AR-style guns, and is passing on the info for anyone who is interested.

  • Please keep in mind that it has been reported that all of the casings found in the Sandy Hook school massacre were .223 rifle casings; however, the gun suspected of being used was found locked in the trunk of the car that Adam stole from his mother (now dead), so it was never brought inside. And then they videotaped the extraction of the gun from the trunk, and lo and behold, it’s not a Bushmaster AR rifle, but a SHOTGUN! They showed the trooper ejecting the shells (which destroyed evidence, as they did it). So, where did the rifle come from? Witnesses reported seeing a man disappearing into the woods behind the school during the attack, and he was wearing black clothing… I suspect that this was the actual shooter, and Adam Lanza was just a patsy (like Lee Harvey Oswald, in JFK’s killing). Dead men don’t talk.

  • Most jury panels do not determine the penalty… they may make recommendations, but it’s the judges that actually make the final decision. In this case, the judge presiding over the case made the decision to accept the plea bargain made by the prosecutor, and accepted by the defendant. The judge didn’t have to accept the plea bargain, either. So, it’s on the judge’s hands, only, for allowing this mentally deranged boy to go free and continue to kill again.
