  I used to watch it way back in the 70s when it was actually funny, but it’s so crude and vulgar now, I cannot watch it. As far as this secular, altered version of the song, you must remember that Lorne Michaels is a Jew and the actors on it are more than likely non-Christian as well (based on the things that come out of their mouths), so even this version is a stretch for them. It wasn’t great, but it could have been much worse, so they get an E for effort.

  I suspect that by the end of his term, our Muslim-sympathizing President will have Christmas removed as a federal holiday. In fact, he will probably write himself an Executive Order to do it like he does everything else. All I can say is I’m so thankful that I grew up in a time when we really did have freedom of religion. Imagine this, I was in a group called Youth for Christ and we met in our school auditorium. GASP! The only reason the small group of atheists are trying to get everything related to God/Jesus banned is because even though they say they do not believe, they are fearful. Fear is the absence of faith. If they really did not believe in God, then why does anything related to God bother them so much? For those who want a scientific exploration into whether there is a “Creator” you should watch Unlocking the Mystery of Life & The Privileged Plant (available online), you might gain a new perspective. Blessings & Peace to everyone and for me, Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

  The liberals cheat, they always have and they always will (dead people voting, rigged machines, and on and on). Unfortunately, nothing will ever be done about it. Just like nothing will happen with Benghazi-gate. The MSM and the Kool-aid drinkers of America don’t care. He will not be impeached because nobody will testify against him (because they are too scared) and nobody will contest the election, NOTHING will happen. The only people that possibly could tell the truth are too scared to because they have most likely been strong-armed by the Liberals and the Bilderberg Group. We need to pray without ceasing and just move on with our lives. This is the hand we have been dealt.

The Libs can say whatever they want with no consequences, but if conservatives do, they are immediately labeled “racists” or their words are “hate speech.” They are in the process of taking away our guns next. “They” are the Bilderberg Group.

  It’s a good thing she didn’t grow up on the 60s and 70s like me when we only had 3 TV channels (plus PBS) and during the election, if the candidates were speaking, they were carried on ALL channels!!! At least kids can watch Nick instead!!!

  I lived in Houston most of my life and we had that happen alot, didn’t even have to be a hurricane or tropical storm. Trees that have shallow root systems are easily toppled when the ground gets saturated enough. We had one fall during a big rain and take out our back porch, but luckily missed the roof of the interior of the house. I was in the house at the time and I heard it and knew what the sound was but had no idea where it was going to land. During Ike, all the trees fell the same direction because of the spinning of the hurricane. The trees looked like popsicle sticks lain across the street one after another. We had about 8 fall on our street. I’m talking about 50 foot pine trees, oak trees, etc.
