  • These men and women are sent off to fight a war that our Government doesn’t even understand. The enemy they fight is as old as Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael, and will not be done away with until Jesus stands on the Temple Mount again. That is the sad truth. However, they fight bravely on, because they love their Country, their Families and their freedom. They fight because they refuse to cower in the face of evil. They fight because if they didn’t- we would all have to, and because they believe America shouldn’t ever be attacked without giving it back- with interest. They fight for a miriad of reasons that most of us will never understand. They deserve our respect, our love, our gratitude and our support. If you’re a basement-dwellin, Cheeto-crunchin, Mountain Dew Chuggin Internet Troll, hiding behind your keyboard and using your useless Art History Degree as an excuse to forever sponge off of your Parents while you play endless rounds of W.O.W … well then, I guess that explains your banal comments on here. It also explains why you aren’t even worthy enough to shine one of these Veteran’s well-worn boots. Hopefully, they don’t think too much about how they had to risk their lives to keep YOUR sorry butts free.

  • To 10thmntn-vet– Thank you for my freedom and safety, Sir. Thank you for being a Super Hero. I want you to know that this is what I’ve always taught my kids to call Soldiers, Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Paramedics; “Super Heroes”. That is no less than what you all deserve to be known as. It is absolutely what you are. I also want you to know that I’ve never known a single person who EVER believed that our Soldiers are willfully killing innocents. Remember that Internet comment sections rarely, if ever, reflect the opinion of the majority of Americans. The Internet is it’s own little fish bowl. As for the injustice you are experiencing in the hunt for a job- In the words of my Veteren Dad; “Eff-’em!!” – May I suggest you start your OWN business doing something you love, and hire other Vets? Who better than you?! You would be your own best boss, and probably a God-send to other Vets out there.
I will be praying for you, this Memorial Day, Sir. I have no doubt it will be a long, hard day for you, full of memories you’d rather not have. May He give you some measure of His Peace and Joy.
You have my sincere gratitude, my prayers, and the respect of my children.

  • What I noticed was the teeny tiny audience. Was this event open to the public? If so, sure were a lot of empty seats.

  • …oops. sorry.
    Love, the IRS

  • Annnd… que “Just Another Isolated Incident” theme song.

  • 1.) No evidence, no arrest.. That’s still the American way. …except…wait a minute. – didn’t Obama just Executive order himself a little law changing all that? Yep. He did. Huh. Weird.
2.) I’d like to think they don’t believe it was nothing, & that these Engineering students will now find themselves under serious surveillance. – Well, that’s what i’d like to think anyway. Maybe they’ll get 3B’d! That helped so much with the Boston bombing’s mystery Saudi! So… yeah. That’s gonna be awesome.
3.) Student Visas; we’ve got ‘em, terrorists love ‘em.

  • I particularly liked the part where the President said he was gonna pass new laws. You know, so that these already illegal things never happen again. That was pretty sweet.
    Gaaah! Maddening.

  • After years of trying to keep track of and fight all of the executive orders, laws and bills coming out of this White House with Nazi Regime-like speed & frequency (yeah, I said it)…. Its kind of nice to now be trying to keep track of so many fast-breaking scandals.
    Two observations:
1.) No one has definitively fingered Obama yet. He’s still successfully B.S.ing his way through these scandals.
2.) Suddenly, the Media is invesigative? Suddenly they’re “finding out” about all of these things going on?
Its simultaneously maddening (insert Pat scream here) and unsettling. Something smells.

  • I was listening to scanner feed all night tonight. When he was still in the boat under the tarp, and chopper was using infared to see if the guy was moving- i heard the pilot say “A lot of movement. He’s flailing around in there”. Then pilot continued to notify officers every time he moved. “He’s in the back of the boat on the fence side.” … “He’s at the front of the boat now.” Etc. That guy was moving all over the place in there the whole time. – unless something happened during the apprehension, he’s not in as bad shape as he looks in these photos.

  • Hm. Who knew ATF agents knew how to intibate?

Can we water board him now?

    How bout now.
