    I don’t know if anyone watches CBS or NBC but considering Fox’s viewership is marching to death, Fox should start to care. Average age of a Fox viewer is 70, the right seems like they should be scared of broken hips and the flu come winter.

    Incorrect people knew the government over reach was going on under Bush. It didn’t make political sense for Republicans to complain then. It does now so you’re seeing the bells be rung constantly. I disagree with both Presidents having this going on under their watch.

    If there is something to Benghazi Obama should have punishment come his way. There is no evidence to support anyone’s claims of cover up or hidden crap and that’s after 4 congressional hearings. Bush had more attacks similar to Benghazi but no one on the right even batted an eye. Now lets look at how Bush lied and pushed us into Iraq where ~4k soldiers have died. The selective outrage of the republican party is hypocrisy through and through. I’m not happy with Obama but I wasn’t happy with the crap Bush pulled either. If you’re going to be angry be angry at the 4k soldiers Chenney and Bush killed with their lies.

    Anit-science rhetoric is super fun and makes you look intelligent. ~98% of scientist agree the global climate is changing. Look at the scientific evidence, there is little debate over it being man made but even if its not man made if the globe becomes too warm for us to live on were going to die as a species. This is the only planet we know of that we can survive on. Weather is becoming more extreme. 100 year weather events are becoming common place. Global warming doesn’t translate to local weather being warmer. Weather does not equal climate you realize that right?

    Yeah because Islam is the only religion to kill people over their beliefs being different….. Come on. The fact is Christianity has a brutally violent history. Crusades, Myans, Incas, Native Americans, I could continue to list the genocides committed in the name of the Christian lord.

    Yeah we’ll need a symbols for Islam, Pegan, Pastafarian, Greek Mythology(I’m excited about a painting of Zues personally. The list goes on. All of this art funded by the local governance. That seems conservative spending money on religious symbols for all the different religions….. Or we could just take down the one. I personally think we should just take down the one.

    @SQUIDVETOHIO:
    Based on the time lines you’re describing there it would make the stories predate when the bible’s events took place. The stories that predate the existence of the places they supposedly took place at in the bible. So no Horus in Egyptian faith isn’t talking about Jesus in the bible. The bible is telling another piece of mythology from another time but re-branding it for a new audience. If you look at the source texts for the bible you’ll clearly see the time lines do not match up to what you’re saying.

    That being said I’m happy the new Pope is actually accepting of other faiths and belief systems. This seems like a step in the correct direction. If you’re a believer in Jesus then you should Love they neighbor. It doesn’t say love thy neighbor but only if he believes the same thing you do. No two people see eye to eye on the entire bible. That’s where science comes in its not a matter of believing. Gravity works with or without your belief in it.

    I hope everyone can be as accepting as the new Pope seems to be.

    I agree someone should go to jail over these IRS issues. I think someone should have gone to jail under the Bush administration for doing the exact same thing to liberal churches and groups.
    The selective outrage is getting pretty appalling. You have people freaking out over a cover up about Benghazi because 4 Americans died but people over look the fact that Bush and Cheney lied and made the American people afraid of mass death to enter Iraq. While Cheney’s company made gobs of money from tax dollars. This is just silly. I think Obama has made some piss poor decisions as president, if it comes out that Obama was directly involved or had information directly he should be impeached and go to jail. I also think that Bush should be in jail for his war crimes. The way this site and the people who comment are so selective in their anger is annoying. You’re either against gov’t over reach or you’re not. Stop putting Obama at the forefront of the argument. This shouldn’t be a team sport it should be the people against the gov’t. Politicians are taking in money and selling us out. As long as we keep bickering like dogs over scraps we’ll continue to have a dysfunctional society and country. Learn to work together and we’ll actually move the needle.

    @SARGEKING:

    Good point. I know my judgement is always best when my life is endangered. You might want to check some of the dog tags of your fellow soldiers. There are plenty of atheists in the military. Proud to serve their country and sacrifice the only thing in their view they have, their life. Please don’t disrespect the sacrifices of these soldiers by saying something as ignorant as ‘There are no atheists in fox holes’.

    @TONYPRO:
    Yeah the biblical truth is this young lady is property so we shouldn’t listen to her.

    22:16-17 And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife. If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

    Corinthians 14:34-35 “… women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says, if they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.”

    Titus 2:4: “… train the younger women … to be subject to their husbands.”

    Deuteronomy 5:21 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, and you shall not desire your neighbor’s house, his field or his male servant or his female servant, his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

    You’re all agreeing with a ~17 year old on matters of life and love. What does a ~17 year old know about love? Almost nothing. I have seen teenagers say they are in love after dating someone for 5 days. They’re bursting with hormones and have underdeveloped brains. This might be why so many people on The Blaze agree with her.

    @CRUSADERPATRIOT:
    There is more than one meaning for distribution. The way the author of this video was meaning was talking about how the money is distributed(5. Division into categories; classification.) among populations. This is simply an observation. Also money is not always earned. That is actually the point of the video, the fact that people on the higher end of the earning chart aren’t actually earning their money they are bleeding the middle class dry. Here is a fact: US workers are currently more productive than ever before but their wages are the lowest they’ve been in decades(adjusted for inflation). So using your logic if you’re more productive and money is always earned than the wages would be going up. We are seeing an inverse in this.

    @NAUGHTYCAL:
    You say it is in the interest of the CEO’s not to dry up the middle class. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. If you’re in a position to keep the barrier of entry higher it serves you to have less competition. Think about any time you play monopoly if you can own more of the wealth on the board you make it harder for other people to win. At the levels these people own wealth money becomes so abstract that it is inconceivable. Verizon, Boeing, GE all had a negative effective tax rate. What people tend to forget is business is a function of our government. It wouldn’t exist in it’s current form without the people’s government(look at Somalia).

  • February 26, 2013 at 5:48pm

    I personally am for freedoms from my government. My government shouldn’t be telling me how to live my life. Maybe I’m just one of these old fashioned people who thinks freedom is good and the rest of these people beating their bibles are for government control and tyranny. Let the gays get married so we can all have freedom.

    The link you gave can’t be trusted as a source for any real data. Half of the citation links are 404′d. The research it uses is is over a decade old(except one article from 2005) and the majority of the research is from over two decades ago or greater. Please link your CDC statistics I would love to see them, also googling for “Center for disease control” won’t give me the same data your basing your opinions off of so please provide source.

    @TNMAN65:

    The term marriage was around long before your favorite book of myths. Just because my favorite fiction book uses a word doesn’t mean I get to claim it. Oh also there was gay marriage on this land long before America was even a twinkle in a pilgrim’s eye.

    SOCIETYOFUNIVERSALKNOWLEDGE:

    The bible is a blueprint for how you should live your life. You should be able to rape a virgin then pay her Pap Pap some monies and have her be your wife. You know like raped property. Do you have any daughters maybe we could work out an agreement?

    @THE BIG MICK:

    First your analogy is terrible. Unless Urban Dictionary becomes a church your analogy is silly.

    Secondly Christians have been attacking non-Christians for as long as some dirt farmer created the new version of an old myth. Your religion won’t get any respect from people unless you stop requiring them to believe in a god in order to hold public office(google this topic before commenting please).

    Freedom of religion means I can believe in what ever I’d like. The 2nd amendment means I can say what I’d like about your religion. I believe your holy books are filled with nonsense, hatred and contradictions. If there is a god and he wrote a book he’s a pretty poor writer. He contradicts himself several times throughout the book. Answer me this what was the color of the robe placed on Jesus during his trial?

    As far as being a pervert you’re judging me :(. I think there is a part in some book about not doing that.

    @NAUGHTYCAL

    Today’s bible has been edited over time. Translation from one language to another is never 100% esp when you’re working with texts as old as the bible is. Hebrew to English translation is a marketing move to get more followers. So your holy bible is evolving with the times. Unless you’re reading your bible in the language it was originally written in and with every word explained how it was used in the period you’re reading a new updated modern version of the bible.
