So in this case it’s similar to your church hanging up a banner in the worship hall saying “Rejoice!” or “Hallelujah!” Not sure what the issue is…
Often times tattoos are conversation starters. In my opinion I highly doubt Jesus would have a problem with someone having a tattoo that might enable them to witness to an unbeliever.

So what Monk, 4 out of 3 Americans are as bad at math as Al “not so” Sharpton, so they will never catch that.

Truly, that was the most emotionally moving story I’ve read in a while. I pray that this younger generation can right the ship. God bless our vets, God bless America.

I can’t believe I’m thankful for Democrats, surely there are at least a few snow flakes falling on Woodrow Wilson’s head this evening.

…and approximately 2-8% of the world is athiest. Humans have a thirst for water, and water is available. Humans have a need for oxygen and it is present in our atmosphere. Humans must eat to stay alive and we have numerous choices of food. Everything that we need is supplied. If 92% of humans have a need to believe in something greater than them, why would that not exist?

Just wanted to add Lee Strobel to your list. I’ve heard him speak at my church. He is the author of “A Case for Christ” and similar to the story posted here, was an athiest who went out to prove there is no God and his research resulted in a new found relationship with Christ.
Jennifer Fullweiler was an athiest as well. Is now a Catholic. Stacy Trascanos was an atheist scientist, now is Catholic. Both have excellent blogs. ,

I know Christ is real because I have a relationship with Him. When I am deep in prayer and study, I feel the presence of the Spirit and He answers me through the Spirit. Often times His answers are the exact opposite of what I want to hear, so it certainly isn’t my subconscious. Speaking of Conscious, how do you explain it? Why do we all have a moral code and automatically know the difference between right and wrong? If we were products of Darwinian evolution wouldn’t any decision that grants us personal advancement be the right decision? For example, there would be no guilt in sitting down to a feast directly in front of the poor and hungry and not sharing.

The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church.

Besides that the city should counter with a suit against his father for inciting a riot. After all they have him on video telling the crowd to “burn it down” on the night that Ferguson went up in flames.
Proverbs 28:27 Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.

Voice of the Martyrs (www.persecution.com) has been around forever. If the blood of these newest martyrs is what it takes to get people to help the persecuted world wide then it will not be in vain. Buy a Nazarene shirt to support the persecuted in Iraq, buy a book on Marxism and Satan to expand your knowledge of the ties between the two, or just donate to help those that are under persecution world wide.
Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

@Blink – If there was as much evidence as you claim via “fossil records, biochemistry, molecular biology, etc” then it would not be call the THEORY of Evolution. It would be LAW.
As a biomedical major, I’ve spent plenty of time learning about so called proof. Although all reasonable scientist understand macro-scale evolution (primordial soup becomes humans, not micro-scale i.e. a wolf becomes a German Shepard) as being theory alone, college texts and professors teach macro-scale evolution like it is law.
Your “proof” found in Biochem, such as, proteins found throughout all living creatures contain the same amino acids, is not only supportive of macro-scale evolution but also support the Creationist idea of a common Creator.
Since neither macro-scale evolution or creation can be scientifically proven after the fact it requires supporters of each theory to have faith or belief in said theory. For example, I believe that “In the beginning God..” while you BELIEVE “In the beginning primordial soup..”
Since the beginning of this debate there have been several monetary rewards all over the internet, offered for PROVING THE THEORY OF MACRO-EVOLUTION. You, my friend, can make over $250,000 for proving it. Be sure to note your screen name when you receive your reward so you can rub all our faces in it! Good luck!
