I see you are using quotes, but not showing your sources…ANTI-MORMON material I presume? It has always been my understanding that not only were the Mormons persecuted for their religious beliefs, but also because for their political views that differed from the surrounding communities…that political view was their ANTI-slavery stance. They were driven from their homes, killed, raped, imprisoned, and The Governor of Missouri even put out an “Extinguish Order” for them, BECAUSE of their religious and anti-slavery views (not “after”).

My brother and I went miles away from home when I was a child, on what we called “adventures.” We were taught safety rules of course, but were told those famous words, ” go out and play.” It is a sad that our society has so much evil in it that children can’t play in their own neighborhoods “unattended.” Children are missing out on quality play that teach them how to be independent, resourceful and imaginative.

Typos —- million not millions, God not a God, and horse’s mouth not horses.

    To fulfill prophesy.

I am a “Mormon,” and you are mistaken….Myself and over 15 millions like me believe Jesus is a GOD. I don’t know where you got this ridiculous idea. In the Book of MORMON (the reason why we are called “Mormons”), which is a 2nd witness of Christ’s DIVINITY, it says, “And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.” – 2 Nephi 25:26. The true name of our Church is The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints. If you are interested, in learning more “from the horses mouth” instead of listening to a preacher of misinformation…go to, or

Are you kidding me? REALLY? How dare you compare Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) with Extreme Islam! Mormons are good people who Love Jesus Christ and this Country. You sound just like the MOBS that prosecuted the Mormons in the 1800′s and drove them out of Missouri, and Nauvoo, ILL. Mormons may have a different theology than you, but it doesn’t make NOT Christians. If those Extremist come to kill Christians, those “MORE MEN” will be right on the front lines defending your family.

My opinion is based on the “Give unto Cesar that which is Cesar’s…” It would not be retroactive. It’s a creative idea to perhaps resolve the issue. We need to think outside the box perhaps? Another thought….I am wondering, when did government get involved in marriage anyways? I’ll have to Google it.

I think any two adults who want to live together in a committed (legal) relationship should get something called a “Civil Union” before a judge. BUT, if they want to make this commitment before GOD, and have God be a part of their relationship, then they can have an additional ceremony by a minister, and this is MARRIAGE.

Here’s an idea….stay out of the sun, thus avoiding the bad affects of the sun AND the need for sun screen.

My name represents two things: protesting shutting down children’s lemonade stands, and being a positive influence in my grand-children’s lives.

Glen, please don’t get discouraged by these negative comments. I for one understand where you are coming from, and support you in helping children. We know you are not a “traitor” like these angry people posting these comments….you are a TRUE leader. You are showing us the way out of this mess…Justice and MERCY. Most of the people here just want justice.

I am sick and tired of all these negative comments. Glen is trying to follow his conscience. If your conscience tells you to protest, then go protest, but don’t complain about someone who is also trying to follow his heart, and do what he feels is right.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? Glen is right, you all are letting hate get the best of you. We all know what the situation is, and who is responsible, and what needs to be done, but Glen is doing what he feels is RIGHT, I stand with GLEN. What would the LORD have us do in this situation. Your anger is what the Liberals are hoping for……they are hoping for BOTTOM up, so they can TOP DOWN. Can’t you see it?

I don’t think people understand….The leadership of the church can’t just go changing the doctrine because some people think it’s “NOT FAIR.” It’s not their doctrine to change…It’s Christ’s Church, and it’s his doctrine. Until Christ changes his mind (which I doubt he will), I will support the Leaders of the church.

As an “Mormon” Woman, I am offended by your comments about Mormon women. First, You have the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints mixed up with the Polygamists (Fundamentalist LDS). Second, Think Ann Romney….did Mitt ever show any signs of treating her as a second class citizen? I think NOT! Never in all my years of being a member of the church have I ever felt disrespected or mistreated. I have ALL same rights as my husband, and I let him know about it often. The men in our church hold the Priesthood, they serve the Church like Christ served his Church. Christ gave them the Priesthood, and to us ladies he gave Motherhood (now that’s something no man has ever done). I think it is a fair trade.

Nothing you said makes any sense.

As an LDS woman I have no problem with only men holding the Priesthood, NOR do I feel disrespected or treated like a second class citizen, quite the opposite is true. Men in the church treat us with a great deal of respect and accept our counsel in all matters.

I personally believe that men were given the Priesthood to serve their families, in this way women share in the blessings of the Priesthood. Women are given the ability to create LIFE itself, men can not do this! The Priesthood supports women in this great calling and the women support the Priesthood. They also serve members of the church (and non-members), women in the church have the opportunity to serve thru our own organization called THE RELIEF SOCIETY. We do not want to do both jobs, we have enough to do already!

Response to 1st paragraph -What evidence do you have that supports your idea that Christians who believe in the Constitution are hateful?
Response to 2nd paragraph – You have a point, the word ANGRY would have been more appropriate. If you were watching the show, you would know that using the term “Hateful” is a “Regressive” statement.
