  Yikes! Can I write, I am going to pray for you? I am! Boy what a sad way to attack Christians. People can share faith in a way they feel inspired to, as long as it is legal. If they get rebuffed, (which happens most times no matter how we try to share) it matters not. When someone I loved died, I accepted all comments to me in the spirit with which they were intended, to comfort. I knew that people feel uncomfortable and so will try their best using their faith to make one feel better.

  This upset me so much! I see many people writing that we cannot blame parents all the time, that good parents sometimes may have bad kids. This may be true to a certain extent, but mostly I would say it begins at home.
  You have to begin with children at even age 2 teaching them respect. When I would walk my 3 to the bus stop many many years ago :), we had to stand and wait next to someone’s lawn. All and I mean all the kids except my three were running on this man’s lawn, pulling on his bushes etc. There were about 7 kids at this stop. Some of the kids had no parent with them but one mom was with her two. She allowed the kids to run all over. She looked at my kids lined up next to the lawn and said to me that I was being silly it was just grass. I told her I thought not, that it is still someone’s property. Well my kids were not perfect but they respected people and property. I have to write both this woman’s boys sadly grew up having problems all through school. Thank God my kids were behaved. You have to teach them with Godly principles, respect caring for others etc. My sons would often come home and tell me, “Mom they were picking on a kid on the bus.” I would ask them did you do anything and always, they stood up for the kids who were bullied. We are not perfect but there is a coldness a callousness among kids today that I at my age of 56 have never seen. It begins at home folks.

  I am 56 years old. I had 12 years of Catholic education where spelling and penmanship were paramount. I worked in day care for the last 5 years. I worked with young women who actually had to turn and look at the alphabet board to see what letter was next! At least once every couple of weeks I see misspellings in online articles. I think education today is falling apart. I have a brother that worked as a teacher for 32 years. He told me many of the new teachers coming out of college were terrible. When my kids were little I pushed them to study hard and had to add to the content of the silly math they were given. Thank God today they all are doing well. What a country!

  The fact that she said “never worked a day in her life” tells all. She meant that. She is back tracking and pretending it was a faux war when it was an overt SLAP to all mothers who made that choice and worked very hard.

  @PAVNVET Obesity and many other aliments are a problem in this country. You are assuming that the fat man in the bed next to you got his heart disease from obesity because you can see his weight. Working for a long time in a hospital, I have seen thin bypass patients. It is not healthier to be overweight, but to not hire someone simply by looking at them and determining they are too fat is wrong. It is an easy target and the last safe prejudice. Anyway, that is my thinking :)

  I think it is sad that in this country we have parades to celebrate a sexual lifestyle. Maybe next it will be a Fornicators Pride Parade, or Three is Better Than Two pride parade. What a sick country. He should be allowed to pass out what he wants as long as he is doing it respectfully.
