  • I worked the last 5 of my 31 years with my local Sheiriffs Office as a 911 call-taker. (a back-injury kinda made me unsuitable for a squad car or wresting folks through cell-doors in the jail). I know for a a, (Long word here. I’ll spell it), F-A-C-T, that when seconds count, the law is only minutes away. Keep a phone by you. KNOW how to dial 911 with it without having to resort to any tutorials. Then, what sort of weapons do the BG element in your area tend to use? Pick something BETTER, and learn how to use it. Ain’t nothin’ different than usin’ the phone.

  • Politicians, who have not kept check on the temptation, who have any lacked moral education to KEEP such a check on the temptation to Purchase votes, by misusing tax-payer money are the genuine culprits in the mess we are in. If we do whatever BHO says, we risk a set-back to human progress that only huge natural disasters usually provide.

  • Spent my life fishing near / on big water with connections to the Atlantic,& I recognized it Immediately as a Lamprey. I must say I WAS surprised to hear about its size, until I read it came from waters near the most politically Leftist neighborhoods on the Continent. Parasites breed parasites. No surprises here.

  • Since I retired, back in ’06, (LEO, 31 years) I’ve had more opportunity to turn an eye skyward a lot more often. The amount of what are obviously the contrails of Military aircract, has increased about 10 times from just a Couple years ago. The opinions of the average guy on the street, the amount of failed businesses around, the amount of, and plain all-out Pragmatism of the “Prepper”, population. I have to pose the age-old question about the reason for the disappearances of so Many formerly successful civilizations. My own opinion is #1, Bad internal politics, #2, Bad internal politics, and #3, Bad internal politics. No less than a natural calamity, like an asteroid impact, Barack Hussein Obama, = Extinction Level Event.

  • So, . . .When a Law-Enforcement Officer draws HIS pistol when faced with a sudden attack by a law-breaker, it IS NOT to defend themself ! It is in order to . . . what ? Make the attacker “Feel Dis-empowered”? Really ? I’m retired LEO, (had to take pension, after disabling back injury off-duty) Defending ones-self in a Free society, means NOT having a police officer looking over your shoulder 24 hrs. It means possibly having to physically defend onself. In a Free human civilization, that is best done with a Weapon in ones hands. In the last couple hundred years, that weapon had Better be a firearm. “Those that beat their swords into plow-shares, will plow for those who didn’t”.

  • The older I get, and the more I learn, the more I think that my grade-school days “education” of what the U.S. Civil War was about, was closer in nature to just having the “facts”, as the winner of the war got to interpret them, hammered into my head. I say this as a life-long yankee. Slavery = bad. But, the way we went around correcting it = badly understood, and badly done.

  • Hard to understand the poor ol’ guys handlers (Hey, I’m an ol’ guy myself) thinking that such an obviously impaired individual making obviously backward statements was going to Promote their agenda. The biggest, the Biggest, the BIGGEST, lesson from such a recent war, is that the FIRST thing any would-be dictator must do, is remove weapons from civilian hands. But, silly me, that sort of thing can’t Possibly happen Here !

  • Very encouraging opinion. Yes, yes indeed. Robbers and burglars will definitely be encouraged that there will be less possibility of a home owner attempting to stop these two-legged predators. “Easy dude, all we have to do is turn around when we get caught, and we’re cool”.

  • The officers that made the arrest of this man did so out of fear that they would be criticized by corrupt “superiors”, or by corrupt, communist media harpies. Its a pity that Police Department does not have anyone who has the sense of morallity and the guts to release this good citizen, and turn and tell his protestors where to put their whining.

  • Information, of ANY kind, provided to ANYONE who has the authority to ACT on that information, will eventually be missused. The opportunities to gain information on the private lives of ANY citizen, using a system of drones, will eventually be taken. All citizens have a right to privacy, ESPECIALLY from their governments. You’ll set up a comittee to watch those who use the drones ? Excellent ! Who will watch the watchers ?
