“A teen” is anyone from 13-000 to 19-364. There are an awful lot of “teens” who are legally adults, and who are fully accountable for their acts. Those who are killing those “teens” are other, … wait for it, … “teens“. “Teens” in gangs, “teens” on drugs, “teens” who have learned that life is cheap, from the womb onward. They are “teens” who see themselves as the most important person on earth, their pride is incalculable.

The way most people interpret it, these are little kids. The fact is, they are not. They’re adults.

The vixtims were not “the children”. They were the taxpayers of Utah and Oklahoma who had to fork over the $112,000,000 to pay for chicken and who knows what else.

Government-run, tax-funded welfare schools are a travesty, and always have been. They were designed that way.

When Horace Mann imported them from Prussia in 1852, his goal was exactly the same as the Kaiser’s: to create a docile, tax-paying populace that would believe whatever the state told them (and to, as soldiers, obey commands without thought or objection). It was this school system that gave Germany its Adolph Hitler, and the mentality of the NAZI Party.

In the XIX, the Reverend R.L. Dabney warned Christians who were clamoring for the grtf-welfare schools to turn little Irish Catholics into “good Americans” that those same schools they were employing for their goal would one day be turned against them and their own children. Alas! that he was right.

“Alas”, but inevitably. The early 1950s SCotuS decisions banning religion in the grtf-welfare schools were not the turning point. That had been reached long earlier. They were the final declaration of victory of the atheist schoolmen, running their banner up the conquered fort’s flagpole. As Dewey said, “what can they do in their one hour of Sunday school when we have their children 6 hours a day?”

You cannot reform the schools into temples of learning any more than you can transform a frog into a battle ship. The frog is not a defective battleship: it’s a frog. The grtf-welfare schools are not defective education centers: they are indoctrination centers, and always have been. Get your children out!

NaughtyCal, you don’t understand lawsuits. The second any news outlet fails to modify “bomber” with “alleged”, that news outlet will be hit by a hundred defamation suits, from the bombers’ families to the local Muslim community center.

And some progressive judge will empanel a jury that will give ‘em hundreds of millions of dollars in punitive damages.

I’m willing to die for my Christianity, but I’m NOT willing to kill innocents for it. I believe that’s the difference between Christians and Muslims, as human beings.

That’s why there are hollow point and other fragmenting rounds.

However, the high power of a 5.56mm, full-metal-jacket round is enough to stop an intruder, but will likely not kill him. That’s a bad thing. You don’t want him alive to sue you for creating a “hostile working environment”.

A 12 ga shotgun is better for home defense, but it’s unwieldy (Li’l Joey BiteMe notwithstanding) and will knock you on your tailbone. A large, relatively slow bullet (.45 ACL is a great example) will do all the stopping and killing you need from it, and the bullet won’t (usually) go through anything outside the house. (Your experience may vary — I’m not a lawyer, but I saw one on TV — this is not to be construed as legal or ballistic advice. Do your own research.)

You don’t know Li’l Joey Biden very well. He recommends breaking the law for otherwise law-abiding citizens (shooting through closed doors in town or over the balcony — again, in town), but he has never advocated shooting a criminal. They are, after all, his natural constituency and he doesn’t want them dead (although that doesn’t make any difference to a Democrat voter).

What he wants is law-abiding citizens in jail where they can’t vote against him. Or, failing that, he wants them dead, like the guy whose home was illegally (but lawfully — bad warrant) invaded by cops looking for the drugs next door. His wife, now widow, thought it was a home invasion and told him, “Baby, get your gun!” He did, shot through the door, and two police officers shot him to death. She was on her knees in handcuffs while her husband bled to death in the next room.

Gotta love the police state.

The issue isn’t home schooling (better termed “Family-Centered Education” — F-CEd), the issue is religious freedom and the right of the parents to determine how to raise their children.

In Germany, children are forced into government-run, tax-funded welfare schools where they are indoctrinated into believing things the parents do not accept as true based on their religion. To prevent their children’s being brainwashed into a religion (prytaneolatry — worship of the state), this family (as thousands of others) chose to center their children’s education in their family. There is no indication that the education the children were receiving was inferior to the standard grtf-welfare system, just that it is different.

The question is, whose children are they: the parents’ or the state’s? If the latter, we are all slaves. If the former, there remains a hope of liberty. If the parents and their children have religious freedom, as the German constitution claims, they must be allowed to educate their children as they choose. Education is not a LEGITIMATE government function.

While freedom and policies that advance it are, by definition “anti-socialist”, we must never let the enemy define us or the terms we sue to describe ourselves.

In your sentence “… [Lady Thatcher and Ronald Reagan] instituted anti socialist policies which worked and brought both England and the USA out of the economic doldrums,” you should have written “… they instituted policies that increased freedom, policies that worked and brought both England and the USA out of the economic doldrums.”
