  Somebody needs to explain to me what the big deal is and why Obama should not have said what he said for public consumption. Before you respond, just in case you don’t know it, the Cold War is over and we would really be fools if we let ourselves be sold another one. Or as Bush, Jr. said, “Fool me once, shame on you.   You’re surprised at people responding to professional promoters of hate and intolerance with hate and intolerance? “Okay for us but not for you,” is it? Well, it’s not okay. Never was, never will be. Not for people who are legitimately disgusted, and especially not for those who do it for money and/or political gain.
  Go to church and pray to your God, ask forgiveness, and keep the hate and hypocrisy hidden in your heart. If you want a more human world, contribute to it.

  Stop drinking the Kool-Aid Pop, Pops. The only country with a goal of world domination is the US (and its NATO allies) with its PNAC. Look it up. Iran has been at peace with the world for 200 years and would still be had the US and Britain not overthrown their legitimate leader, Mossadegh – who was non-religious and Western-oriented (London educated) – and put the brutal Reza Pahlavi in place, leading eventually to the Islamic revolution of 1979. Now they’re surrounded by NATO bases.

  That Kool-Aid is plenty strong. What you claim (I won’t even bother to ask you for references to sources) doesn’t even make sense in its own terms. You say Iran has nukes in Venezuela and missile subs now patrolling off the US (next you’ll report Iranian Navy officers spotted in a McDonald’s in Galveston), but that they’ll “use those nukes if they get them.” They got ‘em, but they’ll get ‘em?
  Israel, however, does reportedly have nuke subs patrolling off Iran. Maybe you meant that…

  “Liberal”, “progressive”, “OWS”, “anarchist”, etc. – all these are only terms of vilification that a certain segment of the population has a consensus on. That consensus is actively abetted by the mainstream media.
  Anarchism is generally defined as the political philosophy which holds the state to be undesirable, unnecessary, and harmful, or alternatively as opposing authority and hierarchical organization in the conduct of human relations. Or: “Get government out of our lives.”
  Liberalism in fact means a system under which government withdraws all obstacles to business doing what it wants with no interference. And since business by definition seeks profit above anything else, business does not respect basic human rights. Neo-liberalism is that same approach extended on a global scale. Result: American jobs to Central America, China, Indonesia, etc.
  OWS started as a protest of the big giveaway in 2008 – “socialism” for the banks. Think about it. OWS preaches non-violence.
  As for respect for life, UNICEF estimates that 500,000 children died as a result of US sanctions on Iraq up to 2003. All for oil. Half the civilian deaths in Pakistan from drone attacks have been children (drone attacks started up again on 01/10/2012).
  But I agree that dropping condoms on Catholic girls, if true, is silly. Catholics aren’t even allowed to use condoms. For centuries they’ve relied on CI and non-******* forms of intimacy as means of conception control.
