    I went and saw this movie on Friday. I enjoyed it. I’m not going to limit my life by only watching movies that are 100% accurate to the Bible. It’s for entertainment, not a teaching tool.

    Why are the Supreme Court’s decisions “flawed” only when they don’t back what Democrats want?

    Gut reaction is that this is fake. Why didn’t the guy recording the audio react in the slightest to the gun shots that must have been really close by to be that loud on the recording?…

    Simply watch a linebacker go for a tackle in a football game and you’ll understand.

    If anyone other than Stewart hit the guy everyone would be talking about what a tragic accident this is.

    The guy got out of his car. Walked onto a dirt race-track, wearing almost all black, and people think Stewart hit him intentionally? The first driver that passed him stated himself that he didn’t see the guy till the last second and that he was lucky to miss him.

    “I think that people have a sense of pride about him,” –

    Yes Deputy Dumbass. That’s why his approval ratings just hit an all-time low. Pride…

    Following the liberal method as any good robot does. Lie, lie big, and stick to it. Then keep up the lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous. Not that they ever think they look ridiculous but the poll numbers show Americans are not buying it anymore.

    I do hate the term ‘CreationScience’. You cannot study or test the principles of creation in a scientific way. Science is a study, Creation is a belief.

    Colleges are not a great place for someone to talk about personal hypotheses that Dinosaurs were alive 4000 years ago… It’s rather simple if you think about it, if dinosaurs were alive just 4000 years ago we’d have actual ‘bones’ and not ‘fossils’ when we dig them up.

    Science: The systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

    Religion: The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. – More so the Christian god of the Old and New Testament. Of course the God in the Old and New Testament are described as being quite different…

    Evolution: The gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form. Something that has been proven to exist and is verifiable.

    God: Take your pick. There are many to choose from, starting with Anu, Enlil and Enki from the Sumerian pantheon… All the way to Jehovah. So take your pick.

    It’s rather simple, if Dinosaurs lived just 4000 years ago, we would be finding bones, not fossils. Fossilization cannot occur in 4000 years. Why would we find bones of humans from 13,000+ years ago and fossils of animals from 4000? Some fossils consist only of skeletal remains, other fossils contain traces of skin, feathers or even soft tissues. This isn’t new, this guy didn’t discover it, It is a known form of diagenesis. This “professor” and I use that term lightly, was teaching students something that less than 0.01% of scientists have concluded from the given studies on this. He should have been fired as he was teaching his beliefs and not actual facts. If he wants to teach his beliefs he should have been in a church not a college.

    Anyone who points to Darwin as the source of all Evolution knowledge doesn’t know anything about Evolution and should just stop now. Darwin was not the first to “discover” evolution. He was not an atheist. He never said humans evolved from monkeys. Almost none of the attacks I see on evolution on this site have any basis in facts…

    Science and Religion are not separate entities where one is right and one is wrong. They co-exist. Evolution could easily be part of God’s plan and to deny it makes you simply closed minded.

    I’m not sure why the religious community is so set against the possibility of the Big Bang and Evolution. If God is all-powerful then why couldn’t he have put these things into our universe?

    Also, “Creation Scientist”? That’s a bit of an oxymoron. You can’t study creationism.

    Ignorance is not proof of God. Science has not discovered everything there is to know, and lack of scientific knowledge is not proof of the divine.

    Hey RNM,

    Can you name any other POTUS who has threatened to use Executive Order for the sole purpose of bypassing Congress (The People)? I can’t think of one.

    @gladwingNov:
    “I challenge SgtB to find any proof of evoltution useing the SCIENTIFIC METHOD.”

    You can see evolution in process simply by looking at drug resistant bacteria. The bacteria has evolved in such a way as to survive the poisons we have introduced to try and kill it off.

    Each year when you get a cold, it’s a virus that has evolved from the last time you get it, or no one would get a cold more than once.

    One of the most clear examples of evolution is the case of the Peppered moth. A moth that was white with black spots that needed to evolve and turn black to hide on coal-soot covered trees. After regulations were put in place and the environment started to clean itself again the light-colored peppered moths have again become common.

    This is all evolution in the real world. The bigger changes take longer amounts of time to occur, so it’s hard for a typical human who only lives 80 years to see it happen.

    @Redblooded:

    “Same question who buried the unfathomable numbers of zooplankton and algae both which require light and air to exist?”

    It doesn’t take a ‘who’. It’s a natural process for the crust of the planet. The top layer of crust gets covered and uncovered through natural processes of erosion. Volcanic activity. Floods. Glaciers. The list goes on. Why do you think that archaeologists need to dig to find ancient cities and artifacts? Why aren’t they simply sitting on the surface?

    “And evolution requires a species to become an entirely new species.”
    - No it doesn’t. You are misunderstanding what Evolution is.

    “Bacteria becoming resistant to something in it’s environment isn’t evolving IT’S ADAPTING.”
    - Adapting is the basis for evolution. One cannot exist without the other.

    “Fact is schools should teach both the idea of creationism and evolution…”
    - The problem with teaching creationism is you can’t prove it’s real. There is no scientific study that can be done on it. It’s 100% faith based, and schools should not be teaching faith. At least with Evolution you can study it, and see it happen on both micro and macro scales.

    @Redblooded:

    “Scientist would have you believe that oil comes from long dead *dinosaurs.”
    - No they don’t. Oil didn’t come from dead dinosaurs, and no real scientist would tell you that. Petroleum was created with compressed, heated remains of ancient living organisms like zooplankton and algae. In other-words, plants.

    “What did that bacteria evolve into….oh yeah it became BACTERIA.”
    - Bacteria does evolve. They have become more and more resistant to our antibacterial medication through evolution. It doesn’t need to become something else entirely in order to evolve. Not everything that evolves changes form into a new plant or animal.

    Almost everything in science is a theory, it doesn’t mean it isn’t proven. There is more proof of Evolution than there is of God. Also, creationism is more of a hypothesis than a theory so it’s even further back on that proof scale you attack evolution with.
