‘Your Right To Trial By Jury Is Precious’: Sen. Rand Paul Stages Nearly 13 Hour Old-School Filibuster Over Drone Strikes
March 7, 2013 at 2:03am
It’s nice to see Democrats defending the murder of American citizens. That has to be one of the best things to happen in politics for decades.

It’s very simple. The reason that people don’t even try for low-paying jobs is because thanks to government theft, their paychecks won’t cover rent and food, let alone the rest of people’s necessary expenses. How much money do all levels of government skim off the top, before you even get your paycheck? For an $8 an hour employee, it is quite substantial. Try living on $5 an hour and see how far you get.
The real issue is to stop the theft, and return incentive. This isn’t a moral question of why people don’t have “work ethic”. People are making rational choices among the terrible situation they are presented with.
It’s time to stop playing into the divide and conquer “morality” game that seems to dominate the right side of the left-right farce. That’s exactly how the enemies of social conservatives are able to portray them as out of touch, heartless, and cruel.

Rand Paul is the only Republican worth a damn at this point. The rest of those lily-livered goons can’t even figure out how to stand up to a weak sociopath like Obama. They won’t even breathe a word of disagreement with the little monster, for fear of being labeled a racist. They have no idea how to fight.
It’s going to take a new generation of politicians to effectively counter the cult of personality around Obama. The old generation of establishment politicians have no fight in them.

Neoconservatives come directly out of the left-wing of the 60′s, and have taken over the GOP. It’s a sad fact that the fascist progressives control both parties now.

This analysis misses the point. Senator Paul said he was abandoned by his fellow republicans when push came to shove, and chose not to die on that hill alone. The establishment GOP has no principles.
Is Conservatism the New Counterculture?

The Gen Y’ers/”millenials” are not going to be an important demographic. Despite all the propaganda and the attempt to indoctrinate young and impressionable minds, it is all going to come to naught. The fact is these younger people in that age bracket will be impoverished as the economy continues to implode, and they will never wield power the way other generations have in the past.
They have been brainwashed successfully to a large degree, but the effect of that brainwashing is minimal without the money and power to put it to the master’s use. The best the fascists (progressives/”liberals”) can hope for is to utilize their anger at being dispossessed to destroy the free market, and usher in a new age of government control. This will not be a quiet process.

The problem with so-called “conservatives” is that they lack an essential morality, yet assume they have a monopoly on it. The reason for this is that they have had their inborn human morals replaced with a set of codes and rules, which is dictated by thought leaders, just as if they were part of a cult. This is exactly the same situation as with the “progressives”. Both are sociopathic cults, and the individuals involved do not know it.
Far be it from any “conservative” of this new stripe to lecture others on morality. Far be it from “conservatives” to call themselves conservatives anymore. The problem is not simply that progressivism, ie fascism, has infiltrated the Democrats. It has also infiltrated the Republican Party all the way to the top as well.
Both Democrats and Republicans are fascist parties now, only disagreeing on who’s will should be imposed on us all. And they have the sycophantic, mindless cult following to prove it.

I’ve been hearing this chicken little nonsense most of my life. I’m so, so tired of it. They never shut up, because there is money to be had.

Sociopaths always cloak themselves in piety. Having sycophantic fools to do it for you is even better. Nothing like a 3rd party testimonial to “prove” that you are of the highest moral character, when all such evidence is actually lacking.

Which religion is the majority religion in the United States? Catholicism? Southern Baptist? Mormon? Methodist? Episcopalian? 7th day Adventist?
Unless someone is proposing some monolithic “Christianist” religion there probably isn’t going to be a consensus here. The so-called majority looks awfully thin when you start asking specific questions about faith.
