The 100 Most Offensive, Controversial & Iconic Newsweek Covers In History
October 18, 2012 at 4:14pm
Newsweek said Sarah Palin was a problem for the GOP and everybody else. Guess she must have really been a problem for them since they’re ceasing to exist. We’ll see about the GOP.
‘He Provided Me the Opportunity to Survive’: Woman Describes How Military Boyfriend Took a Bullet for Her During Shooting

Hoo-Rah
Newt Gingrich is really worried the power in his house might go out for ‘years’
July 13, 2012 at 4:57pm
The EMP threat is a serious issue – means and motive already exist, only opportunity is lacking.
I’ve worked in the area of critical infrastructure protection since the late ’90′s.
This article seems to trivialize it and make Newt look like a kook for discussing it. Yes he gets a bit kooky sometimes, but this is not one of those times.
WaPo Editor’s Startling Defense of Catholics: ‘Maybe the Founders Were Wrong to Guarantee Free Exercise of Religion’
February 9, 2012 at 10:30am
Speaking of caring, apparently you don’t care if the hospital is there or not. The same beliefs about the sacredness of human life that Catholics live by are the reason why they FOUND and OPERATE hospitals. So if you are happy to have them shut down so that your particular vision of humans free from any accountability to God for their God-given ability to reproduce can be imposed on people of all faiths, then who is doing the NOT CARING here.
Or did I miss something, and you have founded a hospital somewhere?
‘Dangerous Grounds’: Tony Perkins Blasts Starbucks’ ‘Radical Agenda’ for Supporting WA Gay Marriage Bill
February 3, 2012 at 11:22pm
Nobody is trying to stop people with same sex attractions from doing whatever they want in private, or getting ‘married’ in public. What we’re trying to stop is the government forcing us to recognize it in our PRIVATE businesses, churches, homes etc. as marriage (including the extension of privileges and financial benefits that come out of OUR private moneys). That’s YOU imposing your religion on ME, not the other way around.
Gold card holder for years, went daily and sometimes twice daily for years, think a lot of the company, looks like we’re on different sides in a war against my right to live my life with freedom of religious expression. When it comes time to tell people they can’t speak up and say that they believe it is wrong like they are in Europe, I guess I know which side Starbucks will be on.
So I’m not going to fund the legal effort to strip me of my rights.
Former Marine Saves Woman from Rape in Queens

Maybe you could change it to “Former” Marine and then start with the line “Once a Marine, always a Marine.”
Former Marine Saves Woman from Rape in Queens

Sheepdog to the rescue, kicking it to the wolf. Sheep should appreciate them more…
Blaze, please consider changing the title – “Former Marine” is actually considered an insult and I don’t think our heroes deserves that. My brother died of Leukemia from poisoning in Gulf One and is in heaven. He is STILL a Marine.
‘One Nation’ Claims ‘Satellite Image’ Proves 10/2 Rally Is Bigger Than ‘Restoring Honor’
October 2, 2010 at 9:56pm
One word: GRASS
at 8/28 there was a kid balanced on every blade around the reflecting pool. If there had been patches of grass that size available right next to the water half way up like I see in the pictures of this rally, I know about 350,000 people who would have made a move for it.
Are we to believe that there were big empty patches around the reflecting pool, but the south field and north forest were completely packed, along with the hill around the memorial…
Like it was on 8/28?
