  Sendthemeteors – The claim that 40% of guns aren’t having background checks has been proven to be a lie. That claim came directly from Obamao’s mouth and you are here to repeat it. It is less than 10% in all reality and has been proven by multiple “fact checkers” using REAL LIFE statistics. It was actually refuted the very same day Obamao stated it and several left leaning websites stated it was a lie. Of the 40% almost 90% are of guns being handed down to family after someone passes away, guns being purchased for youth hunters, etc. Notice that has nothing to do with purchases at gunshows or antiques?

  Jrookie – Not to up to date on current events I see. It has been proven that your trusted politico site was busted for posting Romneys Jeep jobs to China remarks as lies when they were indeed truths. I find it ironic that you are calling out someone for lying when Obama tells blatant lies EVERY time he steps up to the podium in front of a national audience. Just the other day he stated that 40% of guns were released to citizens without background checks. That is not just an exaggeration but an out right lie. Maybe you should read a little more and come back later.

  It’s true, the name Sandy Hook appears on a map in the movie around the 1:58 mark closer to the end of the movie. I had heard about this awhile back and you can check out the Idaho Picker’s webpage to get a glimpse into what was happening in real time during the Sandy Hook shooting. There are too many inconsistencies in the story that the MSM is providing us as to what really happened there that day. That is not to say that I believe every theory out there, but something other than what we’re being told happened and I don’t think that is even questionable. Another thing that bothers me is the whole plot to “The Dark Knight Rises”. Forcibly takeover the rich and powerful to redistribute to their wealth amongst those that are criminals and living off the gov’t handouts? Sounds familiar enough to me.

  Then plese DesertRose explain why, if you’re so angry with Corporations, are you willing to turn a blind eye when Obama takes out money as taxpayers and gives it to his top campaign contributors? Not just a few buck buts BILLIONS of dollars. You speak of taling points but all I’ve heard from you are talking points. Could it be because you don’t have any real information that is productive to the conversations here?

  DesertRose – The Clinton tax hikes of 1993 did not promote prosperity, but a worker wage decline and a growth rate of around 3.3%. When the Republican led Congress CUT taxes in 1997 is when economic growth began and reversed course. It even brought workers wages higher. Your logic does not work here. Bush took office in January 01 and saw a recession begin in March 01. After slowly installing the tax cuts in 03 the economy added 8.1 million jobs. Tax filers rose by 9.6%, taxable income rose 44%. Obama’s plan will not work and I can say that with certainty based on history. We can not continue to spend at this rate without making some sort of improvement. Taxing the top 2% so that our gov’t can run for what? 8 days? This man and his entire cabinet is in over their heads and the slight majority that you claim gave him this mandate have fallen victim to the propaganda spread throughout the media these days. Read a book or something. I can understand that democrats fell for his lies the first time but am completely amazed that after the 1st 4 years of nothing, most of you chose to have 4 more years of this mess. Raising taxes is not the answer. Cutting spending and ONLY cutting spending by any means necessary will pull us out of this recession, which btw we are still in a recession.
