If they have policies, then thats the bottom line. It may suck. But, rules are rules and no one is entitled to the going to the Super Bowl.

The reason why auto-grat is implemented in many restrnts (for parties of 6-8 or more) is bc stingy ignorant customers dont understand that gratuity is expected and servers rely on them. It’s a convenience fee of sorts. Someone is waiting on your butt while you sit and eat their food. Only a small percentage of the money for the food goes to the server.
Still don't make it right or ethical..... I'm not saying they can't do that if they want to, I'm just saying I will not use that business if they do it to me. It isn't my fault, or any other ethical, tipping customers fault if there's some usless to society slobs out there that have no respect or common courteousy or appreciation for those who go out of their way to serve them. They're everywhere, but I say to the business, DO NOT think you are free to expect me to make up for their lack of social ethics when I am a loyal customer and tip generously because I want to and it's the right thing to do, how rude and insulting to customers. Tips are not part of a price tag on the food. They are an appreciation offering of sorts to the server for their kindness and service. If these business's are so compassionately concerned about the servers income, then give them a raise and increase some of your menu prices to cover it. I think these businesses have just found another way to screw over their help, their customers and pocket more of the cash for themselves.

I’ve got a reason why. She probably makes somewhere between $2-3/hr and relies on tips. Plus, he’s paying 10% of his increase to God. 18% of the price of a meal is gratuity for service performed. They are completely unrelated. Whoever attends this “Pastor’s” church should give him a little lesson on economics.
Arrest that demon-posessed witch. I refuse to watch.

Why should he care? Because it’s what any decent person would do.

I own a dessert truck in Utah and I can attest to everything The Cookie Monster just said. Sometimes I can’t afford to buy ingredients bc of the taxes we have to pay. But fortunately, in Utah they are actually trying to make it easier for food trucks to thrive.
Why don’t people understand how serious this fire issue is? The 2nd Amendment gives us the right to keep and bear arms, not to shoot them whenever and wherever we want. The local laws are being set to keep from starting fires. Utah is so dry right now. It is said that 19 fires have been started this yr alone in Utah by firearms. There’s nothing wrong with a local jurisdiction setting appropriate gun laws to protect the public.
