  Before you make a fool of yourself and start off your next post on how you met elvis and had him autograph your breast, here is the conn gun law verbiage stating that the ar15 is banned and therefore cannot be registered.

  “…it is also illegal to have a weapon which can readily be made into an “automatic” , or to have parts to make a weapon into an “automatic”.”

  “Any weapon which allows you to select different firing modes is considered an “assault weapon”, and is not legal to have in your possession in CT.”

  “If the rifle has a detachable magazine and a “pistol grip”, then it cannot also have any of these features:

  a) a folding or telescoping stock
  b) a bayonet lug
  c) a threaded barrel end
  d) a flash suppressor
  e) a grenade launcher”

  I now ask you to explain how a person would be allowed to register a banned weapon?

  And…why are you breaking the law by owning one yourself?

  The first question that should be asked is how his mom had an ar15 registered in her name when that weapon is banned and illegal to own in conn.

  You left out the fact that gun crime in Australia is at an all time high because the criminals are the only ones that have guns. This kills far more Australian than mass shootings, which are rare even in this country.
