    I don’t believe the Obamacare law has “any” enforcement provisions in it other than the IRS may use other tactics. What burns me more is that the House of Reps have the ability to defund the whole thing but instead vote to repeal knowing full well that the repeal vote is meaningless.

    Vote to defund Obamacare and cut the deficit while restoring our Liberty at the same time.

  • Vern’s signs are political speech and there is nothing the Township can do about it other than take him to court but Vern will win and they know it. The township can not also limit your political speech to a certain number of days prior to an election. Both restrictions violate Vern’s 1st Amendment rights.

  • Hey Live2befree – have you ever tried reading the Declaration of Independence which is the first set of laws of the United States of America? Well, here you go – “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Happiness comes from Liberty however, neither of those can happen if we first don’t have Life. And of course that and certain unalienable rights come from our Creator.

  • Very simple. In almost all of these cases they were part of the Low Information Voter crowd that elected Obama. No matter what dead or behind bars they will still manage to vote.

  • Obamacare will rule that this activity increases healthcare costs and therefore will be banned.

  • Raygone, get real and seek the truth. Al Gore sealed his fate by not asking for an entire state recount therefore all the votes in all the other counties were disenfranchised or not treated the same. However, and most importantly prior to the SCOTUS ruling the Florida Secretary of State certified the vote and transmitted the results to the entity in D.C. that tallies the results for all the other states in regards to counting the Electoral College votes. That act is why Bush became President not any action by the SCOTUS.

  • While I’m not sure where I stand on this attempt to force change or restore sanity to the legal system however, I do have to admit that I am tired of the Government filing a multitude of charges against an individual in order to obtain a guilty plea when the individual may not be guilty at all.

    Yes, Romney a moderate at best lost to the Progressive Marxist Obama because too many conservatives did not vote. The Dr. Paul voters will never vote for any Republican so to blame them Romney’s loss is a waste of time. The Paul voters will always be wandering out in the countryside voting for candidates that will never even be able to have a chance to compete. To them it’s their way 100% of the time or the highway. They do not understand that their best chance was to work to reform the Republican Party from within. Winning 50% of what you want is preferable to losing 100%. At least you can continue to fight for the other 50%. Hey, I know it sound rational but to many Paul supporters they would rather lose and complain than win just a little bit at a time.

    However, this argument fits right into Obama’s playbook. We are fighting with each other rather than trying to defeat him.

    You are correct. The GOP in the House of Representatives have the power to set us on the correct course. The problem is that the current leadership and majority in the GOP fear today’s and tomorrows headlines more than they fear the correct legislation to fix the situation. They must realize that with Obama’s re-elelction he will win either way. Obama is “not” interested in fixing anything – just making it more “fair” even if that means extremely slow or no growth at all in the private economy. Obama’s goal is to spread poverty evenly throughout the economy. The GOP just needs to pass the legislation to right the ship and go home and force-feed the populace what should have already been done.

    Either paths they choose will lead over the short-term to the same situation. Obama’s path – a total collapse of the economy or a recession with a few months of economic pain to set us on the correct financial path.
