Agreed. It’s a messed up world we live in and our everyday choices will always say who we are and what is important to us.

I’m of the thought if this was just for journalism they don’t need the persons name, just the background information for statistics. The fact that the name is the first thing there says this is more deliberate. IMO anyway.
"Name and grade" are listed as optional. I would really like to see the results of this survey. "What do you associate with guns" would really be interesting. Hunting/sports, protection and fun would have been my answers way back in high school.
Or maybe it was created by a 9th grader who doesn't overthink things and see liberal boogeymen behind every tree and black helicopters hovering over their houses. It said "Optional"!

the PP videos, the dead soldier returned home with missing heart, and other news stories make it easy to assume where this baby may have ended up. we live in a truly sick world.

and here I thought that was just my opinion upon seeing and hearing the nasty justification for horrible acts that made me Not a muslim fan.

“I’ve seen some news reports of it, but I also know that it’s not real, and you can create any reality that you want,” Pelosi said of the undercover videos.
She should know, I still remember the passing of O-care, and her and her colleagues very fake MLK ‘walk’ against the ‘haters’. ugh, liars and their lies.

We have actual presidentially appointed czar’s in the US and that is how you want to poke at Russia’s president, ‘some might call you a czar’ ?

It sounds from the story the ‘snit’ came after they tried to stop her from leaving. Her comment was made in ‘general’, targeting the abilities of the person who organized the event and in context is clearly not a threat and context is everything. Who was that person from the school to tell a parent that she can’t leave until she goes to all the tables?

marriage is not a gov’t right, marriage is a religious practice. So your argument is the gov’t has the right to determine a religious practice.
Marriage has legal contractual issues so the state MUST be involved. Religion is optional.
Marriage existed before God was invented. Therefore religion has attempted to purloin marriage, but only managed to sully it with superstition and folklore. Our secular, constitutional republic was formed to prevent the religious atrocities that caused them to come to the new world. Religion has always been and will always be poison...it divides people, controls people, and deludes people.

and the jewish laws you must be referring to weren’t biblical. Like today, the bible says one thing but the church’s are teaching is another thing entirely.
In looking through the old testament, or hebrew scriptures, it becomes clear that time and again the Israelites turned from serving Jehovah God, picked up the practices of those around their nation, even to serving other god’s, passing their kids through the fire and other such atrocities. It is no surprise that the Jewish ‘laws’ would not be representing Jehovahs standards. Jesus himself called the Jewish religious leaders hypocrites and off spring of vipers, saying they came from their father the devil and did his will. And by his sacrifice, which was through their machinations, their being chosen as God’s special people was over.

1. That isn’t in the bible, but way to ‘muddy the waters’ with deception in your demand for special treatment.
Exodus 21 is God regulating a practice that he doesn’t even approve of, but it was prevalent everywhere, slavery. Under Mosaic Law, the Israelites were given standards of how slaves must be treated -vs- what was happening everywhere else under every kingdom/gov’t/empire. ( like the US banning slavery before the rest of the world, but now are blamed as the worst transgressor for ever having slavery, even though everyone was doing it, we legally took steps to stop it, and slavery is still being practiced today)
Today most don’t approve or understand the mindset of slavery, myself included, the thought–what we understand of modern slavery is repugnant.
In biblical times, using word for word translation, slavery means what we would call ‘employment’, we work for another, give loyalty, follow the rules and get benefits from it, now it is money to pay for housing/food/clothes and what all. There is more to it, but that is the real basic differences between what we understand for now and what was practiced back then.
The bible can be greatly misunderstood, like this article and secular explanation. While that is the norm, that doesn’t make what they say true or what God intended or wrote. Check out these things for yourself so you to can Know God and base your opinion on that and not the ‘rumors’ that you have heard about Him.
This whitewashing of biblical slavery is like arguing that slavery in the US was "taking care" of black people.
If I recall correctly, the Jewish laws were divided in how to treat a slave if the slave was Jewish versus if the slave was a foreigner. The treatment of foreign slaves was repugnant. Even the slaves children were considered to be slaves. The treatment of Jewish slave was more in keeping with indentured servitude, and there was a actually hope that the slave would not be slave forever. The American practices of slavery were more inline with the bible practices of how to treat a foreign slave. Namely, repugnant.

I wonder what the national stat’s are for how many cops are killed/murdered per year, assaults that don’t end in death per year, and what those stat’s would be for this year. Even throw in how many die by cop, and select category for suicide by cop, murder, justified, resisting, accidental etc…. I would like a clear picture on the levels to begin with and is there a true increase now or just more reporting.
84 so far this year.
2 shot accidentally
5 hit by vehicle
3 9/11 related illnesses
19 auto accidents
4 vehicle pursuits
3 vehicular assaults
2 accidents (no further info)
3 motorcycle accidents
13 heart attacks.
Here's what the White House released on the shootings tonight...

I had no idea about cave systems with businesses inside in the US. huh, interesting.
Sorry about kids. I will state the obvious, there were no marks on the kids and they weren’t malnourished or it would have been mentioned by the cops and put into the article for added justification of taking them away, comes across as removal because poor, though the mother looks…interesting.
The mother does have a perplexed look and the hair color sends a red flag up. It could be a matter of extreme ignorance and poverty.

That was horrible and vicious.
Why was no one initiating first aid?
Why are so many standing around like this victim was somehow contagious?
If I’m right the owner was the one in black shirt, ?. She was clearly negligent and had no control of her animals nor had a clue how to get them back under control.
I hope that gentleman fully recovers with as little scaring and trauma as possible.

All Caps indicate screaming. I get your point, but shouting it at people just makes them feel defensive, even if they agree with you.

I’m pretty sure that is the dog’s owner and she didn’t do any kind of taking control of her animals.

Acts 4:18-20 “With that they(religious leaders at the Sanhedrin) called them(Peter and John) and ordered them not to say anything at all or to teach on the basis of the name of Jesus. But in reply Peter and John said to them: “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves. But as for us, we cannot stop speaking about the things we have seen and heard.”
We, individually, have to decide for ourselves who we will listen to, gov’t's?, religious leaders of the day??, or God’s Word. The challenge isn’t new, the same traps laid by Satan still work today as they did long ago. Who are YOU going to listen to, God or man? Those who truly love God and are loyal to him will answer just like Peter and John.
Understanding God’s Word doesn’t make one ‘homophobic’, it makes us readily recognize sin and reject it for what it is, another attempt by Satan to take our integrity, our relationship with God, away from us. This is only complicated to those who practice to deceive, whether themselves or others.

Their whole argument completely ignores that marriage is a religious institution, not secular. If they want to be together, they can get their gov’t license and be partners. Their argument about marriage is strictly about being accepted by religions while actively sinning against God, to change biblical standard.

I, at first thought, “don’t they mean Chicago not Charlotte?”, I read the article and realized not enough shootings to be Chicago. How horrible that my ‘auto-thoughts’ go that way, but it is reasonable as the continuous reports of gun violence in certain areas are reported so frequently. So, Charlotte NC is now to be added to the high crime city places, a shame. Violence is growing.
