  • Glad to hear he isn’t going to be speaking on behalf of my alma mater. My commencement speaker was Bill Nye, and he did a fantastic job. Hopkins is a gay friendly university: I had some gay classmates, some gay fraternity brothers, and even some gay professors… and you know what… its not a big deal. Some advice to those who support “traditional marriage” like Carson… mind your own business. You think its gross, fine. Don’t get married to a member of your own gender then. Live and let live. I’m proud of the student body for letting their desires be heard and the faculty for listening to them.

BTW I cant tell if some of you are serious about wanting him as president. Yeah, he is accomplished, but wouldn’t you rather have someone with foreign policy, military, economic, or administrative experience?

  • the egg came first, its the same organism

  • 23 violations of the constitution?

Nominate and ATF director – HES KILL THE CONSTITUTION

Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers. – OMG THE HUMANITY

Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health. HAS HE NO SHAME

Jesus, your such a drama queen

  • Really, what happened last time states tried to leave the union?

  • You do know that there aren’t nearly the numbers required to secede, right? I understand how much you all dislike President Obama, but the reality is that there are only a handful of leaders on the right that have even hinted at the possibility of secession- Rick Perry and Ron Paul are the only ones that come to mind. Even if every signature on that Texas petition was unique, it still represents less than one percent of that states registered voters (Obama got 3.3 Million votes in Texas, btw).

Its not a political reality, and all the secession movement has done is lead more independents and moderate republicans to the democratic party out of disgust. If you want to see who is responsible for the Democrats holding the White House, all you need to do is look in the mirror. I swear its like you people never want to win another election ever again

  • You still need to file your taxes correctly and on time. Failure to do that can result in fraud and really severe penalties, penalties which will be extracted from your paycheck via garnishing etc. Failure to pay isnt as serious, as long as you file correctly. The IRS charges a 5% interest rate on any unpaid taxes, and gives you 5 years to pay it back.

Anyway… thought you might want to know what will happen and how the treasury will get its cut. best of luck

  • 50/50? Do you really think 150 million people want this? Did you sleep through the last election?

  • Wow, just wow. I don’t understand why people like Jones are made into the public face of the far right movement. Does anyone think his crazy rant on CNN helped the pro-gun cause? And now he’s talking about cancer causing viruses in vaccines. Most conspiracy theories dont bother me, but that one has actually killed kids. Law of large numbers would suggest that they could find someone a little more sane than this guy…

  • I didnt really understand your last paragraph there, some elaboration might be helpful. And if your argument is that Atheists know in their heart that there is a god but chose to deny it, your going to have a hard time convincing us of your viewpoints. I assure you that is not the case. I truly do not believe in a supernatural element. If your response is that I am lying to you, the conversation is over.

  • It always irks me when someone uses the word “militant” to describe these types of atheists. You could use argumentative or confrontational, but militant? They don’t mean you any harm.

Also, Matt and Tracy have been quite vocal in their critisisms of Islam. The majority of the people who call into their show are christians, and Matt was once one himself, so thats what they usually end up talking about.
