  When the government and its agents go back to using the “Brown Bess” smoothbore musket that was only accurate out to about sixty yards, I’ll go back to using a rifled musket, which our founders used to take down officers and other enemy leaders at 300 yards.

  The 2nd Amendment, as part of the Bill of Rights to the U.S. Constitution is to ensure that “The Whole of the People” have FIRE SUPERIORITY over any potential tyrant and threat to the Constitution – Foreign and or Domestic. As clearly stated, this Natural Right, present at birth and unto death, “Shall Not Be Infringed”, period!

  While I would not award the left any measure of leverage by offering any comment not reflecting reason and prudence (it may make me feel better, and I keep such outbursts to myself, it never helps and the issues facing one before such an outburst are still there when one’s rant ends… so best use that energy in a more productive way…); however, I understand this man’s frustration. He is a professional in an industry devoted to teaching people the safe and responsible use of firearms to protect their own lives and the lives of others.

  After decades of such work and devotion to safety and responsibility, he and all gun owners are being attacked and vilified as aggressively as small business people, professional operating private practices and firms were throughout the last four years and more – dating back to Obama’s first campaign.

  Mr. Yeager is simply reflecting his deep frustration and concern about how our Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Separations of Power are being systematically destroyed by a man that appears determined to destroy our Republic and replace it with Marxist oligarchy, permanently ruled by himself.

  Mr. Yeager is not alone. Millions of Americans are equally concerned and energized.

  More than anything, as An Army Retiree and small business founder and owner, my heart is broken. Cowardly, I have late stage cancer and will likely not survive to see our nation’s final fall. That does nothing to ease my terrible fear for my kids and grand

  Yes Sir!, that’s the way it must be, if any of those that survive will ever again live free and enjoy the liberty so many of us fought so hard for. It’s heart breaking for sure that this is where we have arrived at, but I see no choice – I cannot live in any land that is not truly free. It’s just not in me to cow, much less bow down to tyranny. At least my family will know that everything I tried to teach them was for real – that I really lived the words I spoke and gave oath to. To do otherwise would be so much worse than falling at the hands of despots. “Look Good, Lead from the Front, and Die Well!” That’s all any of us can do.

  AL is my home. As an Army Retiree and founder/owner of two tax paying companies, I am sick at my stomach over the Communist take-over of my country. I fought Marxism, and Communism my entire adult life and I will be damned if I will allow these animals to take one more step against our Constitution. NOT ONE MORE. They are utterly Godless and ruthless – capable of anything.

  If you have seen civilized people fall into depravity and become capable of any evil their leaders can imagine, you will draw a line in the sand and defend it. You’d understand that the only thing stopping despots and absolute tyranny from imposing their will upon the people, is force equal to and greater than that used by those attempting to strip the people of their liberty and natural rights. If you think the U.S. Constitution does not apply more today than it did nearly 240 years ago, please remember, it did not come into being in a vacuum – it was based upon centuries of people struggling to be free; from Magna Carta in 1215, to the Charter of Liberties born from it more than fifty years later. The ideal of man being born an individual sovereign are never “out dated, or old”, they are ETERNAL! This We’ll Defend! (the U.S. Army motto, by the way). God Bless and Keep Each of You!

  I agree. That is the only explanation that makes sense.

  I am a retired Army Vet and small business owner, grossing well above 1 million. Obama has and will destroy such businesses – we are the “very small percentage” he says will be negatively impacted.

  The reality is that we are the very few that actually pay the overwhelming majority of taxes and the ones that can and have grown our businesses to hire many new people. Many fall well below the President’s threshold.

  We worked 20 hour days, 6 to 7 days a week, for over a decade, to be vilified and destroyed by a Communist that has never built a thing. We are his real target – we are the Jews of the 21st century, those with wealth independent of the state.

  They must all know one thing: we are very well prepared and this time, we will not go easily. This time there will be an enormous price.

  It is time for candor – so DHS, et al, you know who I am, come get me. It’s time to see just how tough you think you are.
