The thousands of people out of harm’s way? He’s referring to the criminals. He’d hate for registered democrats to get shot while looting a house.

I hear ya Squid but you and I both know that spin is always perspective-based. One person will see spin but another person, with a different perspective, will see a definitive.

Public Relations’ job is to translate a “Yes” to a “Maybe.” Objective to Subjective. Reason being is the old saying “you can’t please all the people all the time,” and that paradigm is very apparent in many business models.

I’m quickly learning that in my current job. :)

And then there’s the New Testament, which pretty much up-ends a lot of the Old Testament paradigms.

C’mon Vance, I think we get it. You disagree with the teachings in a book. Point made. You don’t have to agree. After your point is made, what else do you need to accomplish aside from being annoying about it?

Um, Christianity. Notice the word “Christ” in there. Implies “follower of Christ.” Since Christ says it, a christian would pretty much go with that as true, no?

I dunno, Squid. I think he’s shown quite a bit of fortitude in comparison to other businesses who’ve buckled at the first sign of bad press.

He’s in an interesting position now. Say anything, and he’s pissed off 50% of the crowd. All to sell sandwiches.

Maybe you should ask Dan Cathy whether he does or not. It might be a good discussion.

Here’s the thing…. Who friggin’ cares what he believes? If it concerns you that he believes in God and follows a certain doctrine, you have an excellent way of showing your disapproval – your wallet.

Aside from that, what other means of protest do you truly need?
