  • Excuse me – if no blood passes from mother to child then how is the blood “passing” from father to child? Are you trying to pass off that sperm carries blood and eggs do not? Or is that “spiritual” too?! Explain how, in monogamous marriages, couples with multiple children – some of the children have the same blood type as mom and others as dad? You can keep your book recommendation!

  • Hurricane Sandy, Sandy Hook, Jerry Sandusky…? A hurricane does not have original sin.

Where is the peace that the Prince of Peace was supposed to bring on that first Christmas? As you look around the world, the landscape is filled with turmoil, disaster, wars between nations and wars within hearts and you ask, “Where is the peace that was promised over 2,000 years ago?”

Every Christmas, we hear the story of the angels announcing the good news of peace. Yet, each succeeding year, we seem to have less peace than the year before.

Although there are many things that people mislabel as peace, the angels are proclaiming a divine peace with God that can only come through Jesus Christ. When you have peace with God through grace by faith in Jesus Christ, you will have peace of mind, heart and conscience. You will have peace with others, your environment and the world.

When you have peace with God, you will also be peaceful like Jesus, the One who slept soundly in the middle of the storm. Jesus, the One who was at peace while the whole world was panicking. Jesus, the One who was peaceful in His crucifixion. Jesus, the One who was peaceful in His resurrection.

When you have divine peace, you will not have a problem-free life. What you will have is peace in the midst of your problems—a peace that surpasses all understanding. Only Jesus Christ can give you that peace.

May the peace of the Lord be always with you and may you and your family have a Merry

  • Amen!

  • I only watched a little over 5 minutes of the video and I was shocked. While ANY shooting is upsetting I was more disturbed that NO ONE went to see if the man was okay! Check vitals! Anything! Even the police! The dog was no longer posed a danger so go to the man with the medical problem already! 5 minutes and no one touched the man! It was probably longer but the man with the video was moved back. Disturbing!

  • This man came to speak at my church in western Pennsylvania last November. I got to meet with him briefly and I asked him about fearing for his life with his conversion to Christianity and writing his book “Son of Hamas”. He had such a calm look and spoke of his faith in Jesus Christ! I highly recommend everyone read his book! May God watch over him!

  • Col. Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I think I’m entitled to.
    Col. Jessep: *You want answers?*
    Kaffee: *I want the truth!*
Col. Jessep: *You can’t handle the truth!*

And the Truth shall set you Free!

  • What’s next, NYC?! The Coney!

  • I checked out several of the vendors and they have great products. Downside – one vendor charged $4.95 S&H for each individual item ordered, even their $6.00 bar of soap. Another vendor charged $7.99 S&H for a 12oz bag of banana chips that costs $3.69. I like to help out but that is too much in my opinion.

I am in EMS and you are wrong. Most EMS and fire in this country are NOT union. Maybe those in major cities get what you spout – go check your local service. $10-$12 per hour, 10-24 hr shifts, no pension, basic 2 weeks vacation IF full time after the first year of service. No full ride medical. And again, nothing compares to what they do daily. Rain, sleet, snow, extreme heat, floods, tornadoes, etc. Car accidents, shootings, drug scenes, fires. And I NEVER said they complain. That was the point. Also, many EMS personnel also do VOLUNTEER fire.

  • Wow! Really!?! WAAAAAAHH! Are we now a nation of whiners & complainers? It’s called work! Take a look at EMS/Fire personnel – they have unbelievably long hours, all weather conditons, machinery/environmental hazards you can’t begin to imagine, health risks – well yeah!, emotional toll – definitely. And they do it for the job. They do it for you! So deal with it! And just an FYI on the info in that chart – OSHA can and will shut you down – they don’t JUST provide “safety guidelines”!
