Your right on that. Thing is it does not say that the government is there for the general welfare of the people of the United States it says the government is there for the general welfare of the United States. At the top of the constitution is where it says what that document is for and that States for the general welfare of the People of the United States, that is pretty clear and where even anyone could misinterpret is beyond me, that should tell everyone what they meant, they left people out for a reason when it came to government. progressives like adding words to suit them and adding the government is there for the people rather than the country is the biggest one. Idea was they protect the United States and the people would be able to take care of each other. Sad part is we could if allowed a whole lot better, but of course that would mean a power shift back to the people and progressives will have nothing to do with that. Boggles my mind that Supreme court justices add words to the laws as long as it gives power to the progressive government.

So you believe that anyone should agree with you or you will belittle them, call them names talk about how uneducated they are and on and on. Your conclusion is “These people don’t come across as the typical christian bigots.” So What is a Typical Christian bigot? And please give me an example of one, with an incident. I’m very interested what example you have so they can be called out on it. The only ones I see posting intolerance and hatred are the ones writing post like yours (see dictionary for definition of Bigot). What I seen come from them is they did not want to participate or condone something they did not believe in. Do not see nor have I heard anything from them saying that they wanted them to change or wanted to force them not to do what they believed. Again The only people I see doing this is people like you. Look foreword to your resourceful response.

Why is anyone surprised? this is he same party-people that have been doing this for hundreds even thousands of years. They Mentally and Physically forced slaves to do what they wanted and then had to for the most part stop Physical part of it. They have continued to force there beliefs and force people to do what they want them to do under any circumstances on to others since. Almost looks like that Progressives/Democrats look at the civil war and civil rights bill as a lost battle not a lost war.

Just commit yourself to go to the progressive Democrat party, Remove the R and put the D where it belongs by your name. Because the only results you have given us are the Progressive Democrat results.

Same old stuff every Democrat is like that, tells someone looking at the actual facts that they are not looking at the facts. He wants Hannity to discard the investigative reports and look at what he says are facts.

I have been saying almost the same thing for a while, except I say uneducated (at least half of the American people), and even more since Nov. 2008 and 2012. They are not really Stupid they are just less educated in many areas and believe they are educated in those areas. Thing is they are not at fault as this is what they are told from K-12 and then comes the colleges and Universities, they are beat down and called names and how stupid they are if they do not believe what they are being told to believe from people that tell them they no better and are much smarter than they are. Same thing that the Masters did back in the day, it worked then and it works now, until Americans break the chains that keep them where they are at in life it will continue as it did with progressives when slaves called them Masters. just a bigger ring of control they have now than they did when they were called Masters.

Same old Democrat, progressive speech… You have no right to speak, unless it is where we tell you to speak or what we tell you to speak.

blinknight, your answer explains your train of thought you explain humanism beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.
If this does not come natural to you then that is a travesty, the issue comes when who decides what is a rational thought is, you seem to believe humanist have rational thought, Do they? when your statement does not even come natural to you, you have to justify it through humanism? That is a travesty.

You sir/madam are NOT a real libertarian with views that way. For one a real libertarian’s first reaction would have been to get government out of the education and put it back in the parents hands. A libertarians views do not impede on others beliefs as you state you want done. Humanism is already taught in Public schools and yes it is a religion you seem to be alright with our kids learning this religion. For second, There is nowhere in the constitution that says the teachers do not have the right to practice there religion or not practice a religion at all. There is one that says there shall be no law impeding the free exercise of religion it does not give exception to schools or anywhere else. A real libertarian would view all issues that we have as what if government was not involved in it would it be an issue at that time? Most issues would not even be present, but as you have demonstrated with at least one post you do believe in forcing your beliefs onto others. If we cannot give the control back to the parents then we would need to teach all religions in school including the only one that has not been pushed out of public schools yet and that is humanism.

What? humanism is already taught in Public schools and yes it is a religion you seem to be alright with our kids being indoctrinated with this religion. How about we get the federal and state government out of the education system and make it local again. There is nowhere in the constitution that says the teachers do not have the right to practice there religion. There is one that says there shall be no law impeding the free exercise of religion it does not give exception to schools or anywhere else.

Umm. A law that he will treat as an advisory.. So what has he changed? He treats all laws as just an advisory, and then does what he wants. One day his supporters will be out asking how a president can just ignore the law, because it will not be there guy in office.

Berty, you nee some education in this area, These are local government dept requested by the people that live there now they fall under fema, imagine that they keep progressing, this is what the feds do. It needs to come back to the local level. Under your plan better buy a set of jaws of life, co2 detector, and some water curtains so your house does not burn everything around it. And of course EMS fall under the same entity so fix for that?

    JRook,
Your the type of person who rates congress on how many laws they can pass on you, to restrict you and me from doing things that hurt no one else, you wine and cry if it is something you don’t want but bring this crap on others if it is something you believe (and you think that is smart) you are also the type of person that brings and allows the type of evil actions we have seen throughout history, then stand back and say didn’t see that coming I did not know that evil stuff was going on. Sure do wish people would educate themselves instead of saying what there told to say by there party. Even if is not this guy it may be the next or the next but people like you bring it to the country.

  • January 1, 2014 at 12:23am

No your wrong see the progressives are so much smarter than us they will put in a law that all criminals will have to register there guns and if you are going to create a crime you must register your gun first. See I was surprised they did not make this law first because they are so much smarter ask them they will tell you they are, really. But this law they put in will fix all of it because they are so much smarter than us. Now for anyone to think that having everyone register there guns, that only law abiding citizens would be the ones registering that’s just crazy ask the progressives they will tell you because they are so much smarter than us. What fools they are.
