  If the GOP goes this route they will never hold power again. If the country chooses to forsake the Biblical account of creation well you lose me and mine, I don’t vote for baby killers or people that deny the God of the Bible and His truth! I will never vote for someone that does not use the Bible as the authority. Sure I might be in the minority for the moment, but I have to answer to Him not you! There is no compromise with darkness and if the people want to live in it well that is not a choice I can help. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord be it in the prisons or the mountain tops.

  John was not Physically Elijah! So John answered Correctly He came in the spirit and power of Elijah. The Exact role of Elijah this is the context which Jesus is explaining in Matt 11: 1-15. So Jesus declared correctly.

  There is no contradiction surhan! None at all!! You are not only blind but willingly blind! John came in the spirit and power of Elijah. He stated he was “the Voice” Not the reincarnation!! Jesus stated if you can accept this he was Elijah regarding the role he was in (Keep the context here) Both John the Baptist and Elijah had similar ministries – he dressed like Elijah, ministered like Elijah, had a message of judgment like Elijah (2 Kings 1:7-8 & Matt 3:4). In Luke 1:17 John the Baptist is stated by the prophesying angel as “a forerunner in the spirit and power of Elijah” and then quotes the same context as Malachi 4:5 regarding Elijah’s stated role “to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous so to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” This then is the key to understanding what Christ meant when He stated in Matt 11:13-14 “And if you are willing to accept it, John himself is Elijah who was to come.” This is further clarified in Matt 17:10-13. Here when Christ is asked the question about Elijah as the forerunner, He both states that Elijah will come (Matt 17:11), and has already come (Matt 17:12-13) in the form of John the Baptist (who came in the spirit and power of Elijah). John the Baptist was the forerunner of Christ’s first coming (in the spirit and power of Elijah), and Elijah will yet come as a forerunner to Christ’s second coming.

  He did say that, read again John 1! ” And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
  22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
  23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.”

  See verse 23? he said “I am the VOICE!” Jesus never claimed that John was Elijah reincarnated.

  “Matthew 11:14 And if you will receive it, this is Elijah, who was to come.”

  He was just ans the Angel told his father. “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your petition has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will give him the name John. 14″And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. 15″For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine or liquor; and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, while yet in his mother’s womb. 16″And he will turn back many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. 17″And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous; so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord,” (Luke 1:13-17).
