I have never heard an Anti-Hetero called a “bigot”, or a Pro-Abortion advocate (current law of the land, mind you) called “Intolerant” towards someone who is Pro-Life.

Temple Baptismal fonts are about 8 feet in diameter and 4 feet deep, full of clear water.
Baptisms are performed by immersion. (complete submersion in water).
Most women and girls probably just choose to NOT go in the font on their own during that time of the month, just like those same women choose to not go swimming in public pools for the same reason.
It’s more of a respect thing, or cleanliness thing than a “Written Forbidden Policy of Male Mormon Leaders”. Honestly, most men, myself included, don’t even think about that stuff.
Just 2 weeks ago a good female friend of mine told me about a mentally challenged girl who regularly comes to the Jordan River Temple in South Jordan Utah to perform baptisms.
The mentally challenged girl was on her period on this particular Friday (3 weeks ago), wearing a pad and wanted to do baptisms.
My friend, who was assigned to assist in the Baptistry that day, instructed her that she couldn’t go into the font while on her period.
I don’t know the details on how my friend knew about the girls schedule, but the young girl got emotional and kept saying, “call my mom. call my mom.” They called her mom and her mom calmed her down and explained it to her. The next day the girl was back at the Temple to do other ordinances. She saw my friend and said, “What are you doing here!” in a very angry tone.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this story is the catalyst of the Salt Lake Trib article.

Trans *** ultrasounds are the only way to detect a fetus during early stage pregnancy. If a woman/girl/child is about to undergo an abortion, how is this procedure invasive? Apparently, this woman/girl/child has already had something else invading her private space previously and is about to have a vacuum attachment with either whirring blades or vice grip like tongs inserted into that same private space (and even deeper penetration and intrusion) because she has opted for this (to use their lingo) “medically unnecessary procedure” to kill this soon-to-be child.
Whatever happened to the good old “to ensure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity” mindset?
