Actually, you missed one! Adam Baldwin (currently on The Last Ship) is very outspoken and Conservative.

Also, Nick Searcy could play a great sleezy politician on the President’s staff.

How about Jeremy Renner as Harvath?

Or, Adam Baldwin as Harvath? He’s conservative and a strong silent type, and this could make him action star! He’s not a movie star, but a well-known TV star so price would be lower. The real question is who will play the love interest?

As for the President, I’ve always like Bruce Greenwood, and I believe he’s played a president before.

Been a fan of Greg Gutfeld for a long time!

Being a candidate in Nebraska, I’d be interested in what his view on Farm Subsidies, etc… is. Even the most conservative candidates support that because they couldn’t get elected without supporting them.

From what I’ve heard he seems very conservative on Social and Economic issues, but I’m sure there will always be one issue we can disagree on.

@Jesuswasablackman: Ted Cruz is a Native Citizen because his mother is a Native American (ie: born in the US) and his father is Cuban who was working in Canada at the time. If his father like communism, why did he Cuba, the Communist Paradise?

Ted Cruz knows what it’s like to live under Canadian Socialism, the kinder-gentler Socialism, and knows how bad that is compared to a Republic. President Obama has an idealized vision of how great Socialism is but has never had live under it.

Seeing as how the Catholic church has one of the largest worldwide memberships and the power the Pope has over world events and the fact that it is historic to have two living Popes, it makes sense that news from the Vatican would dominate media. The Westboros notwithstanding.

How many people can say they’ve lived through two Papal elections.

Not being a Catholic, I only view the Pope’s comments through a political lens.

Has Russell Crowe converted to Islam? Why would he use an Arabic phrase for the leader of the Catholic church?

Wouldn’t a Hebrew or even Latin term be more appropriate?

It looks like all those seaside houses were relocated away from the games site.
I wonder if those people were given fair market value for their land? Or were they removed at gunpoint ala Stalin.

Not all of us from NY are like that… Rochester is a “Democrat” stronghold in Upstate NY.

I agree… Really? You didn’t want to touch it?

I hope she didn’t say the same thing to her husband on her wedding night.

It ought to be a law that every school teach gun safety… You don’t need to ever own one, but you should know enough to be safe around them.

You remembered Tom Clancy, but left out Vince Flynn, a good friend of the show???

I’m a fan of Clancy, also, but Flynn was actually on the show many times.

And, Helen Thomas??? Really?? Wasn’t she undead for the last 50 years…

She should have flown like our elected officials, on a Private/Chartered Jet. There’s a reason many companies charter private planes for employee use.

John Wayne is my all-time favorite actor! His life is interesting and he was always an ardent Anti-Communist and unapologetic about it! He even made a movie that supported Senator McCarthy’s claims about Communists operating in the US called Big Jim McClain.

And had the only Pro-US Vietnam movie to make a profit during the Vietnam Era (The Green Berets). Best scene ever is when they go through the list of supplies from world-wide Communists in Vietnam (USSR, Checzh, China, etc.) for the Liberal journalists’ benefit.

    The Big Mick:

Actually, you’re wrong about Clancy signing off on that change in The Sum of All Fears. I saw an interview with him on C-Span’s BookTV and he said he sold the rights to the book and they could do whatever they wanted to it. After he sold the rights to the movie, he had no further say in what went on screen and what was changed/cut.

Some authors try to retain some control by co-producing the films, like Stephen King. But most authors don’t. Even Brad Thor said if a movie is made from his book, and he says only certain things about it (he’ll be contractually obligated to promote it), he doesn’t like the movie. If he raves about it, then he loves it.

This is sad, Tom Clancy was the author that got me started reading the “Techno-Thrillers” I still read his books, but his later books were not as good as Brad Thor and Vince Flynn. His non-fiction series are also great books about the various military branches.

That’s two great authors this year we lost, Vince Flynn and now Tom Clancy.

Cardinal of The Kremlin is still one of my all time favorite novels! Red Storm Rising is second!

RIP Tom Clancy and Vince Flynn.

Something strange is going on with Papa Johns. A few weeks ago, 6 stores in the Albany-Schenectady area closed without any notice to all of its employees. They were all owned by the same franchisee.

Now, we have only one Papa Johns in the Albany area left, owned by a different franchisee.

Still no explanation to the media.
