  • I’m glad the View gave Mrs. Romney the opportunity to speak with them because it clearly shows how much class Mrs. Romney has compared to the “ladies” of the View. People that don’t see that are a lost cause.

  • >> In the business world women do not work as near as hard as men do.

Absolutely false. When you have men and women in equal roles in the business world, the women have to work twice as hard just to prove themselves because of stupid people that think like you do.

Amy, you have good reason to fear that the future will not be so bright when compared to those Americans like myself that came before you.

It is up to me and parents like me to educate our children on what it really means to live in a free country where we have the liberty to pursue our own idea of happiness and prosperity. We will be free if we teach our children what it means so that they can carry the torch forward.

Amy, you are an example of that. You may be in the minority but your voice must be stronger than those around you. It must be hard at your tender age to see that the freedoms that your parents enjoyed are slipping away; but the responsibility lies with you and your generation to act and reclaim it.

People like you are a start in the right direction; we need more like you. Unfortunately, our indoctrination system known as public education makes it that much harder. Stay strong, be louder.

  • So wait a minute… she cannot “allow” students to slander past or current presidents (her words). But she can say a president was “******”? OMG. Thank God my kids are in private school. This woman is a disgrace to educational standards in the state of NC. I hope someone in position to do something about this is actually paying attention and doing what’s right for the students of this state.

  • MAMMY_NUNN: Sorry to disappoint you on your Linux rant, but serious businesses run on serious platforms. There’s more to software than just installing it.. it needs to run and it needs to be supported. In that regard, Linux cannot hold a candle to Microsoft.

  • In my part of NC the “FOR” marriage signs easily outnumber the “AGAINST” signs by maybe 10 to 1. Frankly without the signs, no one would even know that this is on the ballot next week.

There was a sign placed near my house in an area that’s just a sign collector — I saw one of these “AGAINST” signs there the other day and planned to go back to pull it up. But… by the time I got there to pull it up, dang if someone hadn’t beat me to it!

  • I’m not Jewish, but I do not allow my young teenage daughters to have a facebook account.

I made this rule in my household for their own protection — they’re young, and like all young people, make stupid mistakes and say stupid things… I’d rather not have their stupid mistakes broadcast to the whole world on record for all eternity.

They don’t like it now; someday they’ll thank me.

  • AxelPhantom >> I just question his political alliances

Don’t pay so much attention to where Celente presents his views — do you really think that the mainstream media would give him a platform? Listen instead to his message.

  • AxelPhantom >> I just question his political alliances

Do you really think that the “mainstream media” would let him have his say and give him an audience? Don’t pay so much attention to where he is delivering his message but rather focus on what the message might be.
