Repeal the 17th Amendment and put the senators back under the collective thumbs of the states and make them accountable again to the state that they supposedly ‘represent’. That would go a long way to repair the problem.

You forgot to mention how the federal bureaucratic apparatchiks use of the Federal Register to pass laws in the form of regulations unconstitutionally WITHOUT congress, senate, or the president.
The mere existence of the Federal Register is nothing more that congress shirking its constitutional duty to the citizens of this country.

We need to send this message to our state legislatures….We demand that you use any and all means available to restore our Constitutional Republic and the balance of power within our federal government…even if that means dissolving and reforming it.
The states are the key to all of this, and most likely our only hope of restoration.

Maybe there should be laws created to allow dismissal of federal supreme court judges if the majority of state supreme courts determine that a particular justice on the federal court is making determinations using their own political and social leanings, and not within the confines of the Constitution. Just dreaming aloud…wouldn’t it be nice, though?

To my thinking, it’s about our 1st Amendment rights of free speech and expression. If a group of people want to fly the stars and bars, who are we to prevent them from doing so?
I also wonder why all of these so-called patriots don’t ban the ISIS flag? I find that MUCH more offensive than the Confederate flag since it represents true present-day evil, not something that happened over a hundred fifty years ago.
