Last time I checked the principles list of principals, Boehner, Graham, McCain and now perhaps Rubio were Democrats already. To be perfectly Barney Frank about it, nothing hidden behind the back door with any of them now is there? Here’s a thought. Rather than continue to act like Progressive and be popular with people who’ll never support you, why not work with the 50% of the country that DIDN’T VOTE? Try and see if you can’t ignite some real passion in THAT GROUP to save the nation. That may work if they realize we are on a fast road to a failed European Socialist State where 1/3 of the nation is enslaved to the other two thirds who are lazy, unproductive and useless.

Attempts to persuade us that 3rd party records do not belong to us are ludicrous. The Latin phrase… “Qui facit per alium facit per se” means “The one who acts through another, acts in his or her own interest.” A safe deposit box or storage shed (personal property and key access protected) are 3rd party storage; and long standing law requires the vault keeper (banker) to keep it private from all searches and seizures without a properly executed and individual warrant. In the modern equivalent of “papers, photographs, account records, etc.” modern technology exists so that this information can be stored by third parties digitally. But the bank account belongs to you, not the bank. The bank charges a fee for storage and offers interest in order to use your money. All such 3rd party accounts exist at YOUR behest, not theirs. By simple logic and reason, the Latin applies to BOTH the safe deposit box and the Cloud Storage. You cannot access any personal account, email, cloud storage without a key, an encrypted password. The expectation of privacy and limited personal access out of the reach of others is the same. Someone will really have to stretch to show me that the government can overstep the bounds of the 4th and 5th Amendments over 3rd party accounts and other digital forms of storage without probable cause and a warrant executed by due process. I would love to be the attorney taking that argument before a civil court as redress of grievance against a misuse of

I was thinking the same thing, but still think KARMA is what it is and if the 94 year old needs to fae justice, he’s the same butcher he was 70 years ago, just older.

Obama’s weeping golf and smoking buddy can go to hell. I will not buy any product from OHIO so long as Boehner remains in power. I will not support anything OHIO. As a 3rd generation Hispanic whose family was brought into America by treaties that made my family homeland part of America, I can say proudly that our family of more than 20 veterans say close the dang boarder and close it now. America is a nation of LAWS. Congress should get the stones necessary to file Impeachment Papers against this president for ignoring his responsibilities as defender of the nation and constitution. Many of my fellow Hispanic Americans who do NOT understand the danger we face right now because we ignore the borders. This must stop now. We are being invaded. Our president is ignoring this war.

Atheists are often just so dang intolerant. My understanding of the Constitution and the Common Law that underwrote it before, is that the GOVERNMENT shall not “establish” a state sponsored church. State sponsorship means establishing a mandated church to which all parties become members and excommunication therefrom would cast a citizen in a second class position of serfdom or servitude. Praying publicly or allowing people of faith to display their faith is NOT an establishment of a mandated state religion. In deed the “tolerance card” seems to have been ignored by all those hoisting the petard of socialism as the state religion above all else. I’m not hurt when I see a Christian, Jew or Muslim pray. When one of them straps a bomb on their chest, that’s a different story!

Radical Islam denies free agency and demands obeisance. It does not consider the human will to learn, consider, reason, accept or reject it. It is therefore SATANIC. I side with the late Bruce R. McConkie who as an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed shortly before his death remarked in open forum, “There is no Allah and Mohamed was a false prophet.” Christ said, “By their fruits ye shall know them” (the Prophets).

Radical Islamics faces an enormous paradox in conflict. It believes (like Christians) that the Almighty God is so powerful he can create the heavens, the earth, the Universe, all life forms everywhere; and yet, Radical Islam’s ALLAH is also apparently so feeble, weak and pathetic that HE needs enslaved women and children to strap dynamite to themselves to destroy those HE created but whom HE deems infidels.

So sorry but that is dogma the most asinine and ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life. GOD doesn’t need win hearts with fear and bombs, but does so with love and tender mercy. From their fruits it is apparent to me that Radical ISLAM’s Allah is obviously not GOD, but SATAN. It is about time we Christians, Jews and even loving Muslins to stand up for what we believe. The true LORD and GOD will stand with us as we stand with him at his right hand side. Thou shalt NOT kill.

Being inquisitive. I really wonder how all those bears and other Arctic creatures managed to survive the 300 Midevil Warming period? More than that, how ever did they survive and even thrive during the 7,000 year period that spanned about 9,500 BC to about 2,500 BC when the earth began to cool from 65F to it’s present 59F over a 400 year period ending about the time of the birth of Abraham?

Some of us would really like to know how they lived while the Sarhara was nearly non-existant, the forests and green belts greener and the climate significantly wetter and hotter globally?

    Yet they did…and just fine.

Amazing those facts and how they get in the way of liberal ships of state. The Vikings roamed the north, settled Greenland and travered the Arctic during the summers as if there was no impedement to their progress….and how did that happen again? Nice to see the alarmists are catching up to science.

Been studying this for two decades. We are really much closer to going cold than hot. I think that is why the cry of global warming was changed to climate crisis – because that way the alarmists can hedge their bets either way. The fact is climate is not static, has always changed and the worst part about that is, cold is far more likely than warm based on the last 50 my of evidence.

ooops, typo, that was supposed to be 42 Miles.

  • October 22, 2010 at 1:56am

Actually, the distance across the Bering Sea even outside the islands is only about 32 miles as the crow flies and so you can see both islands from either shore on a rare clear day…and you could potentially see both sides on the same, but rarely is the air that clear there, but it does happen.

Well for starters,Sarah Palin is actually correct regarding Russia and Alaska. The easternmost point of Russia is Big Diomede Island in the Baring Sea. About one mile east of that and across the international Dateline is Little Diomede Island, part of Nome County Alaska. The two islands are well within sight of one another. Both are purportedly uninhabited, but both actually harbor listening outposts where each side spies on the other, though which much less angst than was present during the cold war. Little Diomede is NOT the Westernmost part of Alaska or the US. Attu Island in the North Pacific holds the distinction of being Alaska’s most western reach. The Island of Guam is the westernmost part of the Territories of the USA. But as far as Sarah’s comment, she is quite correct! In fact that piece of property (about 2 square miles) in the Bering Sea was a crucial chunk of rock in the US Early warning System two decades ago. I get tired of liberals and leftists that couldn’t raise a radish on their own talking down the intellect of a women that was smart enough to run businesses, push the messy entitlement process for a natural gas pipeline through two national, two Provencal and three state governments, all while knowing how to use the business end of a rifle, a knife, a gaffe and a hook. Sarah Palin is more man than most liberal men…but then again so are most liberal women (LOL).

Whence the new congress is seated in January, may I suggest that someone like Jason Chavits introduce a bill of Resolution before the House of Representatives that asks the president to please resign for the good of the nation. They should indicate that his unwillingness to enforce the laws of the land, to protect the boarders, to ensure domestic tranquility by enforcing civil rights laws equally and other high crimes and misdemeanors be sufficient reason to simply ask that he resign and allow the office of the president to be turned over to Mr. Biden. Mr. Obama has humiliated the nation. It is time for him to resign. Now of course, he won’t, but the line will be drawn in the sand, he will have no effective power and while he would foolishly veto legislation that repeals all he has done, he will go down with William Jefferson Clinton as two of the most embarrassing asses to have ever occupied the oval office. Is it a coincidence that the best the Democratic Party has offered in the last five presidents from the blue side include big-time bigot Lyndon Johnson and peanut farmer James Earl Carter (President Malaise). Kennedy was by historic standards marginal as a president, having cut taxes he was good on domestic policy but being horrible at projecting American strength (like all democrats) he helped launch us into the nearly fatal Cuban Missile Crises and then Viet Nam. Those last five were truly the best Democrats can offer? The last two had major mother issues, clearly weak pathetic individuals whose mothers were the types of women people in their neighborhoods whispered about. And they wonder WHY middle of America has finally awakened.

I am not offended by anything Maddow, Oberman, Matthiews or any other employee of MSNBC says anyome. I am only offended that MSNBC still pretends to be a news organization and they claim to be news media. On Fox, Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly all openly state that they are NOT news media, but in fact talk show hosts. MSNBC keeps trying to convince us they are something other than the handpicked permanent infomercial for the Marxist George Soros. I appreciate honesty. I decline to watch anything aired by the dishonest. Inasmuch as I rarely see anything from MSNBC except their ridiculous “Lean Forward” adds, I am not likely to every purchase anything their advertisers proffer unless of course they advertise on ESPN or FOX. Just a thought those of you bending over forward for the next poke in the….might want to consider.

    I am NOT Genny Thomas.
I think President Obama is an unsympathetic narcissist and as poorly behaved as a petulant child.
But tyrant works for me as well.
I don’t think there was ever a less qualified man in power. Lest anyone think I don’t like him because of race, I can think of several people of color I would have supported in his high office ahead of him in a heartbeat and long ago at that; including former NSA and Secretary of State Condie Rice.

  • October 20, 2010 at 1:18am

I think the most relevant fact brought forth here is that the democrat wants to determine what states do and the republican wants states to decide what do states. I side with keeping power over education vested in local governments, at the state level at the outside, but not a federal education nanny.

The chronology of the events never supported the claims made by Ms. Hill’s purported friends. Those of us that carefully watched the entire proceeding and then followed the carefully chronicled chain of events (no FOX present notwithstanding) were quite certain of two things:

    1) Somebody did some rather bazaar things that might have risen to the level of sexual harassment, and

    2) Based on the well documented chronology of when that occurred vs. when Ms. Hill and Mr. Thomas worked together the event took place sometime between 9-11 months earlier.

Ms. Thomas enjoyed the fame and notoriety that went with her “go along ride” but the Books that chronicled the events carefully have never left any doubt that Justice THOMAS was not the man who harassed her. The man who did was likely a partner of the law firm she worked at, but clearly could NOT have been THOMAS.

Anyone that believes otherwise just never researched the historic records, which include employment documentation that dosn’t put the two together at the time the event purportedly occurred.

Hill should apologize and she knows she should. Bearing a false witness is the same today as it was 20 years earlier.

    Clucking garbage.
These five women would be shut up immediately under Sharia law.
They would not even be allowed to have a show under Sharia law.
I am fairly certain three of them would have in fact been stoned to death under Sharia law for views they espouse on women’s rights.

Finally, extremist or not – 19 Muslim men evoking ALLAH’s name carried out the 9-11 attacks.
Now honestly, I love Whoopie Goldberg. She is however WRONG in this case, on the wrong side.
If she and Joy are O with the beheading and continued degradation of women by ISLAM in general, then let them be whatever they wish to be and state whatever they like to state, but be around for the consequences of getting what you wish for from ISLAM.

Finally, Barbara Walters’ comments about “respect” shows absolutely NO respect for women in general. Their purported concern for ISLAM is the defense of that which is defenseless in the treatment of women.

It is refreshing to see that MSNBC neither pretends or promotes itself as an actual NEWS NETWORK anymore. By the way, the 1800′s were not perfect Ed, but most Americans kept what they earned, spent what they wanted, lived without their neighbors looking over their shoulders and were smart enough to cook their food well until disease had been killed off. While the post civil war world wasn’t perfect, we didn’t have such an oppressive government at every level that the people were all enslaved economically to the whims and will of their local, state and federal legislatures that never saw a cause or tax they didn’t like. YOU SIR are part of the problem. I prefer not to lean forward so that the likes of you and your lazy-whiny-leftists can sodomize me any further.

  • October 18, 2010 at 3:17pm

Well I am very sorry Meghan. But my five children who are all decidedly conservative tea party advocates would strongly disagree with you. My wife thinks the reality of your position is that you are the petulant child of privilege that is seeking attention by speaking out on things for which you are ill equipped by either real life experience or knowledge to even speak about. She may or may not be correct, but clearly you do NOT speak for the tens of millions of young people that view the RHINO right like your father’s party and the elitist blowhard left as solutions to what ills the nation. Even a kid with a BMW and $900/month payments while earning $30k a year is rudely awakened to the fact that you can’t always have whatever you want, when you want it. The right is simply telling the left, welcome to the real world. I would suggest you join it as well.
