whatthecrazy….. I was upset last night at the thought of what our government “leaders” are doing to our country and forgot to thank you for your very kind comment. Thank you!

@daytona91….. I respectfully disagree with you. There are millions of Americans who would stand up and side with that “Lone Ranger” politician/leader. Once the dark veil of evil deception has been lifted, there will be so much outrage, our dishonest, traitorous leaders will run for the hills.

Only God can perform the miracle America needs to survive. He is perfectly capable of protecting those He chooses to use for His holy plan and purpose. We cannot leave God out of the equation. God Bless America!

whatthecrazy….. These old, prideful, arrogant, elitist, cowardly Congressmen have sent America’s young men to fight and die for our country. Then they sit back in the lap of luxury and lie, steal, cheat and hand America over to our enemies on a silver platter, stuffing their pockets in the process. As for the man in Russia who lost his life standing up to Putin…. At least he died like a man doing what he believed was right, doing what he believed in. He was trying to protect his nation. He was extremely courageous and didn’t die a sniveling coward. As Charles Dickens said in ‘Great Expectations’…. “In a word, I was too cowardly to do what I knew to be right, as I had been too cowardly to avoid doing what I knew to be wrong.”

If they were more concerned about saving America than their own jobs and careers, they would end up celebrated as heroes and patriots, receiving eternal gratitude from generations to come. If only they could place love of country before love of self. Their fear of being attacked and criticized is blinding them to reality. Whoever saves America will receive the opposite – love, gratitude and praise unending. Besides, that old saying, “Goodness is its own reward.” is reason enough to do the right thing.

Amen and Amen! Thank you for your wonderful comment, MysteryofBabylon.

Try Waco, Bandera, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, San Marcos. Those are pretty little towns. Midland/Odessa (where I am from)…. lots of dirt, tumbleweeds, rattle snakes, oil rigs/pump jacks, sand storms and no lakes anywhere. It’s dry as a bone, flat as a pancake, but the most beautiful sunsets and the greatest, most wonderful people. They say you can take the girl out of Texas but you can’t take Texas out of the girl. That is so true! Good luck with your adventure!

With everything else changing all around us, at least we should leave our majestic, beautiful, glorious flag alone. Let at least one thing remain the same. Just as a “thank you” to God for our beautiful nation – the one He gave to us, the one He will restore to us someday. God Bless Old Glory and God Bless America.

Clearly, the dress is not presented in a bright light but hampered by the shade so….. it’s white and taupe – not gold. It would be cuter without the Bolero which should have been accentuated by the matching trim to complete the look. Let’s not think about losing the internet today.

John Boehner has always had the strangest, most abnormal affectations anyway. Blowing kisses in mid-sentence is beyond strange. Wasn’t he addressing a male reporter? I wonder what’s next? Head spinning while spitting pea soup? Our government leaders are so creepy.

getoffmylawncommies….. If you really believe you are right about this, I have a dare for you. Pray. Close your eyes, bow your head, cup your hands at your chin, and ask God to please show you that He exists. Ask Him to help you. You may feel ridiculous, as if you’re talking to thin air and what a waste of time. Nobody is watching you, listening to you. You’re all by yourself. Try it. I said this is a dare. Look at it as if it’s just a game. You may be afraid He will actually show up and prove you wrong. It is my hope and prayer (even though I do not know you) that He will show up in a big way.

Yes… Tomorrow, we will get the bad news of the Obama/Soros internet take-over. Watching Madonna’s ridiculous, immature antics will pale in comparison to the death-knell internet vote being taken tomorrow. Hey, on the upside, at least those with serious internet addictions will re-discover there is a life separate and apart from their computers. When our connections slow to a turtle’s pace and we are denied access to our favorite blogs/news sites, it just won’t be as much fun anymore. Obamacare – Obamanet…. sure is going to be a scream!

grandmarules007….. When we dance with the devil, bad things happen. She dedicated her life/career/performance to him and how does he reward her? He laughs and gives her a painful, humiliating smack-down in front of the whole, entire world. I would like to see her wake up, turn her life around and be a force for GOOD. That is my prayer for her and all her dancers/crew.

I would like to ask Mitch McConnell if being a lying, deceitful, yellow-bellied coward is painful. Does it hurt or do you even notice it anymore? It must be nice to have no conscience.

I cannot watch anyone take silly risks with their lives – as if all the blessings they have been given means absolutely nothing to them. People like this do not realize that if they end up killing themselves for vain glory and cheap thrills, they just earn the label of STUPID. After it is all over, they receive no admiration – just abject pity and incredulity that anyone can be so insipidly stupid.

What makes Phil Cooke believe we haven’t been praying for Hollywood? We have been praying for them for years. Praying they will stop it, stop attacking our children and fabric of our nation with their filth and corruption. They still hate us and still expect us to financially support their immoral efforts/ideologies and worship the ground they walk on. Atheists, communists, socialists, Marxists, progressives (of both parties) are just downright UGLY and most of us won’t support them with anything but prayer. Mostly, we are praying for America, our nation they are actively, militantly destroying in order to usher in socialism. They are actively at war with Christians and anyone who loves God. Just say the name of Jesus Christ to them and they cower and hiss like Dracula before a cross. It is interesting that Phil chooses to address and admonish Christians for not praying hard enough, rather than go to the source of the problem which would be the mean, America-hating, Godless people in Hollywood. It’s too late anyway. It’s just way too late. The damage is done.

This is so adorable. I’ll bet this guy never dreamed in a million years that a sea lion would see him as a kindred spirit. What a compliment!

Nigel, you are so funny and I mean it. I didn’t think anything could make me laugh out loud at the end of this day. And especially after watching this poor girl punched like that. Anyway…. I don’t know why your comment is so funny – it just is! Thanks for the laugh.

Poor, ignorant Socialist brats. Now they get to stew in their own juices while kissing Obama’s shiny boots. Even animals are smart enough to run away from cages.

Years ago, I had a “ghost rock” hit my van one night. Late one night on a twisty, curvy road near our home, a teenager was trying to get home at fast as he could (past curfew) and lost control of his car. He ran off the road, hit a tree and died. About a week later, I had to pick up my daughter from church – a special outing with her youth group – and was driving down the same road at midnight. Right where that kid hit the tree, I could see a white, med. sized rock on the side of the road. It lifted off the ground and flew into the bumper of my van. It was dark and I had on my bright lights. I literally saw it happen. One minute it was on the ground, the next minute it was hurling toward my bumper. It hit hard and scared me, really upset me. It was a new van, had only had it for a few weeks and I could not figure out what upset me more…. denting my new van or seeing that rock come flying off the ground toward me. The funny thing is that I never did find a dent or even a scratch from the rock – it left no mark and it hit really hard. I don’t believe in ghosts, never experienced anything weird before. But, I can say without a doubt, that something very strange happened that night at the very same hour in time and exactly at the damaged tree where he lost his life.

In reading the headline, I thought “Po-Po” was some kind of Hawaiian delicacy. I thought Obama must be complaining about food with the lady that has some kind of green lettuce juice speared on her lips! Well, then just don’t order it next time. Oh…. “Po-Po” means police? Can’t they just say the word police? It has the same number of syllables. “Po-Po” is not any shorter or easier than saying police. Rhetorically speaking…..How can we all get along if we don’t even speak the same language?

Maybe instead of constantly ruminating, regurgitating the past, it would be better to thank God for His merciful, bountiful blessings today and ask Him how to move forward. How can I glorify You, Dear Lord? Listen to Him. Do His will. Walk in His path. Love thy neighbor. “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” Love and forgiveness is their answer if they will only look up and not down, forward instead of backward. Life just doesn’t have to be this hard.
