  • They are not even good liars. They are prolific liars but are mile wide and an half inch deep. Despite a lot of attempts they are just not good at it. The sad thing is that at high noon in Texas they would point at the blazing sun and tell you it’s midnight…the propaganda machine would report that as fact and most would believe it. The low information citizen has no idea what this is about and could care less. I’ll bet that some think Benghazi is something that comes out of a tube that you rub on aching muscles.

  • Targets looked to be about 50 yards. Rifle is equipped with an Aimpoint Micro, maybe the best red dot optic out there. Put the dot on the target, squeeze the trigger and the target falls; makes it easy. Kudos to my governor but with that set up it’s hard to miss.

  • “Please stay seated until the captain has turned off the seat belt sign.”

  • That would be Kimchi over there. My distant memory is that the batch just coming in from fermenting this time of year is especially “yummy”. I do like the idea though.

BTW the collective breath of those standing in that pic could strip paint. Another distant memory…..

  • First of all the PRC could shutdown this country with one phone call and closing the border. It serves their purpose to keep them propped up.

2nd…we will do nothing. I was there in 1969-70; not too long after the so called “Pueblo Incident”. We did nothing. A PRNK commando team crossed the border through tunnels and shot up the Blue House (the bullet marks are still there); we did nothing. The PRNK shot down a EC-121, in international airspace, we did nothing. Another commando team used tunnels to attack one of our vehicles in South Korea and killed four of our troops in the ambush; we did nothing. There was the infamous “Tree Cutting” incident on our side of the DMZ at Panmunjom where a young captain was killed with axe handles; we did nothing. We will do nothing here until the PRC tells we can.

  • Thats not M1 ammo. M1 ammo is 30-06 150 grain and is loaded in en block 8 round clips. This is actually 5.56 M855 62 Grain steel penetrator. It’s loaded in mil-spec 10 round stripper clips ready to recharge M16/M4 magazines.

  • Want to see a juxtaposition? Watch the movie “The Gallant Hours”. Bull Halsey, for all his faults, was a fighting Admiral. He made some bad decisions but he took the fight to the enemy relentlessly. This POS would not make a good Laundry & Morale officer back in the day but he’s good at “going along to get along”. You are seeing, yet again, another example of the incremental destruction of our military. The flag officer warriors are being forced to retire and the remaining turds float to the top. I would not follow this guy across the street; never mind into the Yellow Sea. Want to bet he’s already lining up a nice consulting gig with a Green company when he retires?

  • @ Galaxie_Man

My favorite is when the “NORAML” people say: “When it happens we are coming to your house”. Really? I tell them two things..”if you do it will not go well for you…and it’s likely we are long gone”. Thankfully we do have some family and friends that do “get it”. Most are either LE or ex Mil or Med folks and they all contribute.

Then there are the ones who hedge their bets with a case or two of water and two boxes of MRE’s…I have no idea what they are getting ready for. Most assume “whatever” will last three days and NORMAL returns.

  • 2 weeks? How about 2 years or more? How about a redundant water filter system and some way to heat your water & food that does not rely on the grid or fuel? I’ve been called a “wacko bunker person” by members of my own family. I’ve given up on most family & friends as they live in the FACEBOOK world where all is good if you are “liked”. They desperately cling to NORAML. Well boys & girls when you head down to Costco with the masses on D day enjoy the Fanta diet fruit punch and the Barry Mainlow Greatest Hits CD; thats all that will be left….Morons.

  • Back in the old,old days there was a Assault Helicopter company down the road from us that had a mutt for a mascot. When a GI would walk by he would jump and yelp and wag his tail. When a Korean would go by that dog would pin his ears back, hair would come up he he would just growl. That dog was on to something…..
