  • The Church is referred to throughout scripture as the “Bride of Christ” and it was with the Jewish wedding tradition in mind that Christ, the Bridegroom said the following;
    John 14:2 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.” But, in the mean time my father will will poor out His wrath on His fallen creation and in so doing beat the crap out of My Bride just prior to my return???
    Not a consistent sentiment when placed in the context of the whole council of God.
    Paul calls the rapture our blessed hope in Titus 2:13, “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” But without the rapture I guess all the bride can hope for is the wrath of the Bridegroom’s Father?
    My understanding of the rapture is not dependent on Darby but on scriptures understood through a Systematic Theological bases rather then through Dispensational Theology. You can accuse Darby till your blue in the face, the rapture stands on Paul’s teachings not Darby’s.

    Jesus’ indictment of Blaspheming the Holy Spirit in Matthew 12, Mark 3 and Luke 12 involved attributing the working of the Holy Spirit to Satan. If La Haye and Jenkins are doing the work of the Holy Spirit then I would be careful before attributing greed and intentional deception to their hearts if I were not God.

    In needing me to explain the difference between killing and murder for you makes my point that you are a morally bankrupt sorry excuse for a human being.
    “Perhaps..Pig.” Mayabe I could explain it “You disgusting vomitous mass.” (Princess Bride Quote for those of you in Rio Linda)
    Instead, you are the one who needs to explain when you say;
    “Of what is a man’s honor when he blindly follows orders – that he intuitively knows to be immoral – to murder innocent people: men, women, children, and the elderly?”
    You explain how you know that Soldiers are unable to follow orders without doing so blindly. I for one never in my 25 years blindly followed orders or ever executed an immoral, illegal, or unethical order by the honorable leaders appointed over me.
    Can you prove that there is murder in the hearts of Soldiers? While demonstrating moral blindness you dare to make morale judgements on those whose honor through service makes them beyond your pitiful leftist reproach.
    Go away little person.

  • I am a retired 25 year veteran of the Army. Been there, done that. First; I am highly skeptical of these statistics and can not help but wonder if such things as Soldier drunk driving fatalities are now being lumped in as suicides, or some other skewing of the statistics along those lines. This would definitely aid in the “take the guns away from our veterans” argument of the anti 2nd amendment types.
    Second; What part have we free citizens played in allowing our brothers and sisters in Iraq and Afghanistan to be completely forgotten and their sacrifices to go unreported and unheralded? Yes the media and politicians are to blame first, but do we really need them to lead us in cheering our troops?
    Third; Skunk is a disgusting human being who will not allow himself to see the moral difference between killing and murder. To paint America’s finest as murdering baby killers qualifies Skunk as a low life POS.

  • Warphead has become a moot point.

    Professional maybe, battle experienced I doubt it. Time spent in Bahrain may be time spent in a combat zone, but it isn’t time in combat. (Unless combating boredom in a luxury hotel counts)
    Everyone graduating basic training receives a rifle marksmanship badge, either a marksman, sharpshooter, or expert badge, which one depends on how many targets out of 40 you knock down. (I note that they didn’t say he had an expert rifleman’s badge)
    Officers qualify regularly with the M9 pistol and qualifying expert isn’t all that hard especially if he had police training. (I hit 30 pop-up targets with 30 rounds and then ten more with my ten leftover rounds the first time I ever touched an M9; no previous training and I don’t consider myself all that good)
    It could be that his having been in an aviation unit means he went to Survival, Escape, Evasion, Reconnaissance training, SEER school, which would be the most beneficial military training for his current hobby. But this is not mentioned in the article.
    So this guy probably isn’t Jonny Rambo though a few days hiking in the mountains may burn off a few un-needed pounds.
    Being a lefty means he is probably a coward at heart and will rely on the bleeding heart media to make his story about every thing except his own deluded actions.

    I am quietly reflecting on the line “Christianity is not about a book, but about a person who is the word of God made flesh” and this “Religious Leader” looses me instantly. If the Bible, the “Book” that Christianity isn’t about, is not the word that Jesus lived, then we, enlightened men, can make up any rules that fit the accepted cultural norms of the day. Jesus is not to be taken separately from the entirety of the book because He authored the whole thing and then lived out its over-arching message in a three year ministry on earth. Jesus is the author of ALL of Genesis through Revelation, not just some passages in Matthew through John.
    Sin is sin and we are all sinners, murderers, thieves, adulterers, fornicators, and homosexuals alike. Jesus never said love the murderer and accept their murdering. Love the thief and accept their thievery. Love the adulterer and accept their adultery. Love the homosexual and accept their homosexuality. Jesus said go and sin no more.
    Jesus does not want to be one of the life style choices you choose to embrace.
    Jesus does not want to be the number one choice with your homosexual lifestyle coming in a distant second.
    Jesus wants to to be number one in your life on a life style list of one.
    He deserves no less.
    To make Him less is to deny His Lordship.
    God Bless

  • @Patriot
    Tell me what sin was Jesus, the Son of God, unable to finish atonement for on the cross, that your human action of water baptism can somehow better complete? It is faith in Christ’s sacrificial death, first and only that saves. Baptism then becomes an important, necessary, maybe even a required human action that declares that the choice of faith has been made.

  • Israel does not launch rockets as they are unguided and indiscriminant weapons. Israel uses guided missiles or smart bombs and the article clearly states that there has been 130 such attacks launched by Israel.

    The Replacement theology you espouse allowed the Church to comfortably sit on their hands through the Holocaust and many other atrocities perpetrated against the Jews throughout history. Jesus is the same Triune God that made the unilateral covenant with Abraham and I don’t read where He changed His mind on the subject. When did God change His mind on blessing those who bless Israel and cursing those who curse Israel? Replacement Theology is a liberal ploy of Satan.

  • Hey Freeburt
    At least our guy did get 49% of the non-satan loving vote. Exactly what percent did your Messiah, Ron Paul get???? None, zilch, Nada, squat…… Try running him again in 2016, if he hasn’t achieved room temperature, and then talk to me about who is the election’s biggest looser. Oh yeah, that would be you. Try winning a playoff game before you criticize a Super Bowl loss.
    Oh, and by the way, your “Christian Taliban” B.S. kind of contradicts your self delusional monopoly on love for freedom and the constitution. Santorum is a mealymouthed Christian compared to the far more theocratic writers of the constitution you think is so secular. But you just keep typing that God hating nonsense you think is so witty, I’m sure he doesn’t mind one bit (sarc)
