  You may be right but if you think being dumped is fitting, you demean those who were of necessity buried at sea. In our maritime history, that was a dignified burial for sailers who died at sea, and there is no shame in that action. The reasons for such a burial for OBL was to keep his followers from creating a shrine, they said; well, anyone should be able to figure out they can create a shrine to this man if they want to, with or without a body. They can even use the USA treatment of his body as fire to flare up higher. As it is, we have no visible proof that it was he who died, unless that proof is being held in reserve and will be revealed. Like so many such matters, our govenrment has chosen to lie to us, and of all the most recent presidents, Obama is the least trustworthy. The world is on fire, burning the economic stability of the nations, the wars and rumors of wars in the Middle East, the shameful treatment of Israel, the most noble and decent of all the people of this troubled area. The corruption of leaders in the world today and the shambles of our once healthy society, the woes coming upon us in the weather, and the persecution our Christian heritage all comes together in what the Bible calls the last days. It’s time to search our hearts, and see if there be any wicked way in us, and confess to God our sin and need for His forgiveness. That’s why Jesus came, why He suffered and died, and invites anyone who will to come to Him. OBL chose not to; I hope you will choose to come. Time is very short and when that door of opportunity closes, it will not be left cracked open for the undecided. Chose you THIS DAY whom you will serve; as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua had it right.

  I remember how it grieved me to watch the Palestinians pass out treats and dance in the street wen some of them killed the Fogel family. I was proud of that father and yourg girl’s gracious reply to such barbaric hatred as the murders displayed. Now it’s our turn; OBL met justice, long overdo but are we barbarians who celebrate the violent death of a man just because he was evil? He was a soul God loved, and Jesus died for, same as you and me. That he rejected that love is a choice I’m sure that he would like to rethink about now, and even more after Judgment Day. I watched the celebrating in front of the WH and at Times Square, and saw young kids laughing and waving in delight. I understand the impulse why throw gas on the fire of Islamic militant hatred? They will percieve that the same we saw the celebrations over the Fogel’s death. I think the world should have seen proof it was OBL and then a respectful burial. I know that some of the 9/11 familes didn’t have a body to bury, but if the world doesn’t KNOW that he is truly dead, and if he’s under the waters of the sea, it could create more problems. I love this country, but the way our leaders behave, the lies and coruption in Washington, the way they ignore problems and point fingers of blame, the stupidity of things said and done, and a president we can’t trust, I long for something of our public display that makes us ptoud to be Amerians again, and to have hope for better days to come. The truth is, OBL dead won’t bring back a single one of the dead from 9/11 or any of the thousands he’s killed. That judgment will be his when he stands before God, as we all will someday. We thank our military for their brave service, but not just in this operation; every day of the year, 24/7, the brave defenders of our freedom pay a stiff price to serve us. Most of them have seen death on a field of war or conflict, and it’s not a pretty sight. I expect some fo them have shed tears over the body of a buddy, and I know that many here at home have gotten that dreaded news of death to one they love. Can we pray and strive for a world without hatred and war? Ezekiel 38 and 39 prophicy the Gog and Magog war. Read the whole passage: Russia will lead a confederation of Muslim nations headed by Iran to invade Israel and 5/6th os this huge army will be destroyed by the hand of God protecting His people in Israel. The Bible says the birds of the air will feast on the flesh of the dead, and it will take 7 months to bury them all. Bible prophecy so far is 100% accurate; if you think this is the one thing that won’t come, you need another dip. With this scene is the Tribulation, sevenyears of God’s wrath against the ungodly, coupled with Antichrist’s persecution of Jews and all who refuse the Mark of the Beast. It will end only with Armageddon, with so much blood it will run to the horses bridles for 186 miles! An appetite for violent death may well lead you to be part of all this.

  True, so true. It has occurred to me that we should think outside the box. Everyone has now looked at the “long form” Certificate of Live Birth, and pondered what’s there, and wondered if it’s real. Why not look around in Kenya and see what’s there? Wouldn’t it be fun to watch him explain two certificates of birth? Personally, I don’t think he’s qualified to be our president if he was born in the Lincoln bedroom of the White House. He is so phony about all that he does, so obviously arrogant and of a bad spirit that nothing would surprise me about him at this point. My only comfort is knowing that God is in charge, in spite of how crazy the world seems to be right now. Faith, brothers and sisters, faith, in God, not Obama.

  Isn’t he just so on top; he has not noticed yet that he is standing on top of a pile of poopee? First news conference in 97 years and all he has to say is inflation is happening, but at a so-called low rate. You go, Ben. Go….let’s see, where would be a good place for him to go? Like back to school maybe, as he and Obama must have both flunked math. If it was just a financial collapse in this country, that would be bad enough, but the reason they want to bring us down is to force this nation into their New World Order. They know we would not go any other way. This has been on the table for a long time, and they finally have things where they want them. What they don’t know would sink a big ship; the Bible prophecies a last days world empire, and it’s run by a dude named Antichrist. The one thing that might generate God’s mercy in America is to stand up for Israel, but Obama won’t even do that! So we kill babies, and do all that other stuff that got Sodom and Gamorah toasted and we are really arrogant enough to think it’s OK for us? NOT. Time to dust the Bible off, dear hearts. I’ve taught Bible prophecy for 45 years, and WE ARE THERE! God is our only hope, through Jesus, His Son. He loves each of you, so give Him a chance. He loves the Muslims, too, so save your anger and fear for the radical Islamists, the Shiites like Amhadinejad who can’t wait to toss a few nukes at us and Israel. It can be scary but I know the Lord, and He is in charge. I’m sure He has a good laugh when Obama and Bernanke and the rest of that bunch hunch over their secret meetings. They think they are so cool but where that road ends for such people, it’s not cool…..ya’ know.

  This young man has a heart for the nation, a wise mind to identify the problems, and a good attitude to work toward saving our country. This enormous debt will destroy us, without firm and fast intervention. The Dems want to keep spending, they call names and point fingers but they offer no solutions, and dengrate any who do. The contrast is so obvious, I have to wonder about something very scary. Only an idiot thinks we can keep spending money we don’t have and do so with impunity. Is the government controled by idots or—are they doing it on purpose? Is the idea of a New World Order so great that Obama and his henchmen are willing to destroy this nation to force us into a One World Governance? At what point do we say we are not going to take it anymore? Can we afford to wait until 2012 to vote the bums out? The oath of office for federal leaders is to protect the nation from all enemies foreign and domestic but what is the greatest enemy we have is the government? There should be a recall on Obama, and that silly ol’ Harry and snile Nancy, and the Czars Obama has surrounded himself with, and the Unions should be kicked out of the White House ont heir butt, and take it ont he chin like the rest of us. In a day, unions served this nation well, but now they are progressive robbers who take the dues of heard working and decent Americans and use the money to put the likes of Obama ahead of the pack. They are corrupt to the core. God help us, folks. Dan 4:17 in the Bible tells us that God is in control of the kingdoms of the world, so Obama is president only because God lets him be. The role he appears to be filling is the one that paves the way for the World Empire to be ruled by Antichrist. While we are at it, we MUST support Israel. These are God’s chosen people, and we dis them at our our peril. Pray for our country, and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  Why is there so much Anti-Semitic vitriole in the world? I love the Jews, and don’t hate any other people group but I do have a question about all the steam rising in Afghanistan because some kook burned a Q’uran. I condemn what he did but now it has become an excuse to to rant and rave against Israel and the US again, and again. Our leaders seem to welcome this nonsense, and we bend over, backwards of course, for Militant Islam, and forget all about their crimes. They don’t just burn a book; they burn the whole Christian Churches in places like Indonesia, and the Sudan; they won’t even let a Christian live in Saudi Arabia, and many nations are called Closed Counties. That means, no Christians, no Bibles, nothing like that is allowed. You go to prison for those “crimes.” Why is no one screaming bloody murder about that dear family in the West Bank slaughted by Palestinians and then serving candy and goodies to the cheering crowd! What kind of people celebrate monsters who stab a 3 month old baby in the heart, and then slit its little neck so deep it all but severs the tiny head? Where or where is the media on this story? Paslestinians are squatters in Israel; they drifted there in the 7th century to find grass for their flocks, and never were a country. They were given Trans-Jordan when Israel got the leftovers of that Mandate, and they could have declared their independance then, same as Israel did. The UN voted on that, if you recall. It’s not about the land; it’s about millenniums of hatred by SOME Arab people and militant Islam for the Jews. God helps us, wake up before its too late. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. The oil rich Arab ations could easily provide for Palestinian refugees, but they don’t care about their own people enough to do a thing; It was the Arab invaders of Israel that told them to leave in the first place. Israel treats the Arabs in Israel well, even allowing them to vote and serve; The devil inspires this unreasonable hatred of the Jews, and those of you sick with it better get healed; God’s love and a dose of forgiveness is the only cure.

  CBROWN had a nice, hopeful plan but it is not realistic. I love GW too, but he is but a man, and has his foibles like the rest of us. He hoped for democracy in Iraq but the truth is we still don’t see a solid demoncracy there and even less so elsewhere. Mubarak will fall, no doubt but George Washington is not on hand to take over! It will be a Muslim group, most like the radicals. That won’t bring demoncracy to anyone and will destroy what little is there; it will bring a Caliphate. When Shairia Law nites the Middle Eastern nations that are Muslim, what do you think will happen to Israel? Do you think a Caliphate will be nice to the well-meaning Americans who supported Mubarak while for 30 years he terrorized his own people? Get real; I like you plan but it is not reality. Most of Islam is committed to the destruction of America and Israel. A Caliphate will give them power and unity of purpose to act on that committment. GW would be the first to tell you, don’t put your hope in him; put you hope in Jesus Christ, because He is the only hope for this world.

  i read some of the comments with interest but didn’t find one that speaks to the big picture. First, the chaos in Egypt is the focal point right now, but there is unrest and revolt in the air in other Islamic countries where good people are oppressed. Egypt’s revolt is important to the US because Mubarak has appeared as a friend for so long; was he a friend? He could have just been smarter than we are. He got billions of dollars worth of military aid out of us while he savagely mistreated his own people. Iran’s people rose up to but got knocked down. The conflict between Sunni and Shiite Muslims is real, and both groups have home boys in turmoil. A long held hope for Islam is a world-wide Caliphate. Realisitically they don’t expect to get the whole world in one coup but this mess would give them a great start on that goal. If Egypt falls to radical Islam, you better believe the whole world is in trouble! Someone planted the Stuxnet virus in the nuclear computer systems of Iran and that slowed them down but they still want nukes to destroy Israel and the US. If you think anything will change his mind, then you can believe this is all just a blip in the world’s politics and will blow over. NOTE: Egypt’s fall to radical Islam will litterally surround tiny Israel with enemies avowed to destroy God’s People. The unrest in Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and other Muslim counties could end up forming a Caliphate in the whole Middle East, and even take in parts of other counties that have a significant Muslim populace. Who has money and oil? Not us! A Caliphate, by the way, would make Shairia Law the Law of the Land for ALL of the Caliphate; that’s what it means. That would make all the countries governments and constituions go poof! Shairia Law cuts off the hands of theives, stones to dead adulterous women, and beheads those who refuse Islam. Bible prophecy tells us that in the very last days, Israel will be surrounded by enemies; Antichrist comes to power by making a treaty that protects Israel. Does that sound like it could be the next act in this drama? If so, then while all this shaking out over there, the US best get its house in order. And the whole world can look up and know that redemption draws near. Jesus will come for His Church before Antichrist shows up to make his treaty. I Thes. 13-18. This whole thing can get much worse before it gets better. The US is not in any shape to lead the world at this time. Our debt-ridden economy won’t stand up to the demands, and our corrupt society and leaders are no real hope. If you know how to pray, get down on your knees, and if you don’t, get to Jesus while you still can. My heart aches with what I believe is in store for the whole world but beats with joy as I search the clouds for the momentary sppearnace of Jesus Christ, and listen for the echo of the trumpet sounding as He gathers us to be with Him forever.

  True; Jesus did not reveal the date to anyone, because even He did not know the day. Only the Father. Check it out: Mathew 24:36. Perhaps he knows now, but if the pattern follows all the tradition of an ancient Jewish wedding, the Bridegroom comes for His Bride when the house He has prepared for her is complete, and the Father tells His Son to go get His Bride. Then the Groom would create a procession with his groomsmen and with torches to light therr way at what was often a midnight hour, he would go to her house to claim her. She would know the APPROXIMATE time when she could expect him, and would be ready and waiting for his arrival. He would take her backto Father’s house and the home he had prepared for her, and the ceremony would take place beneath the canaopy, and they would celebrate for a full week, even longer. No matter how you cut it, no one knows the date of Christ’s return. The fact is, in spite of this season being well marked, many will tarry and not be prepared. Their lamps will have no oil, and they will be left behind. Folks, we are looking down the road of Eternity, and we best take a good, hard look. The Bible is clear, God is merciful, and Jesus paid the price, so if we miss the Rapture, the Tribulation is the Last Call! Millions will not survive that time of suffering, and I for one would rather know and serve God now than wait for a time such as that to hope for another chance. There will be much deception during the Trib so if you don’t think Jesus is worth the effort now, how do you know you will think differently under the deception of Antichrist and his False Prophet? The devil wants you to take that chance but I think it is beyond foolish to do that. God loves you; He sent Jesus to die for you; serve Him now so you have at least a small reard in heaven to lay at His nail-scarred feet. Marantha.

  I listend to some of the Utube clip to hear Mr. Camping speak out, and confidently tell you he is deceived. Jesus Himself said no one knows the day, but many false prophets will come. I have taught Bible Prophecy and End Time studies for 45 years. No one will “see” Jesus come; it’s in the twinkling of an eye for the Rapture. It comes as a theif in the night. We know the season but not the day. It is the season, to be sure. He is also incorrect in stating that the Judgement Day is May 22nd. The Tribulation period of 7 years follows the Rapture, and doesn’t begin until Antichrist confirms a treaty with Israel. It could be a few days or a few years between these two events. We are forming a Global Government that will be taken over by Antichrist, and the economy of the world is laying groundwork for a cahsless society that will result in the Mark of the Beast half-way through the Tribulation to buy or sell, but at Armagheddon, at the close of the Tribulation will see Jesus coming in power and glory to defeat the powers of evil and set up His Kingdom. It’s a dangerous thing to add to or take away from God’s truth in the Bible, Mr. Camping. Read the warning at the close of Revelation, if you don’t know that. The Tribulation will be a time of great suffering, and horrible carnage from the wars and destruction of the Antichrist and the judgments God will send but God’s purpose then is yet to call men to repentance, not to destroy them. Many will refuse to repent, of course, because they are evil of heart and/or deceived by Antichrist, but some will believe, and among them are the Jews of Israel, God’s chosen people who will finally recognize their Messiah. Israel is the key to prophectic understanding, and Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy, so take caution in misrepresenting Him to a world that doesn’t know truth! If I was going to GUESS at a date for His Rapture it wouldn’t be May 21st in any year. It would be on Rosh Hoshana in some future year, Jesus was crucified on Passover, in the grave during Unleavened Bread, Raised on the Feast of First Fruits and the church born on Pentecost. These are the 4 spring feasts of the Jewish people. The last 3 are Rosh Hoshana, the New year, Yom Kippur, and then Tabernacles. Rosh Hoshana is the start of a new Jewish year, and to be sure they start exactly on time, with the first appearance of the new moon, for centuries the priests were charged with watching the sky for that first sliver of it’s light, and then confirming it by the witness of a second preist. A signal fire was lit and on a dintant high place, another fire was lit until all of Israel knew that the day of beginning had some. There was about a 48 hour window of time during which the moon could appear so it is true, even is Rosh Hoshana is the time for Jesus to come for His Bride, the actual day is not known in advance, nor the exact hour. Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement for Jews, and could correspond to the Tribulation, and the Tabernacles time matches the Millenial Reign of Christ on Earth. But this is only a possible scenario and I would NEVER tell anyone that it will be thus and so, nor would AI dare to pick a year. Jeus will come when our Father tells him to, as Jewish bridegrooms have done through centuries of time. Read the account in the Gospels! The Groom comes at the midnight hour for His Bride, and finds half the virgins with untrimmed lamps, but the Bride waiting and ready with her true virgins holding up their lighted lamps. God is clear in the Bible about what we need to know to be saved from wrath and to enter heaven. All this nonsence and speculation only clouds the issues and frightens people who don’t know better. It also provides fuel to the scoffers who proint out that people have been saying this for thousands of years. Peter warns about the scoffers in II Peter 3. Mr. Camping, you will need to have a ready answer for the misinformation you are sending out into a world that needs truth and light, not heresay. I didn’t find any rationale for your conclusion on this site and am confident that whatever it is, I can refute it from the Bible, not just my opinion. If you truly believe God’s word, read Rev. 22:18-19. You still have time to repent, and I urge you to do so. There is much we can’t know about the time table for the end times, and that’s as it should be. If we don’t pay attention to what we do know, it wouldn’t matter ir we did know more. Don’t let foolish pride silence you when you have opportunity to right this great wrong you are doing, and the worst of it is that you do it in His Name! Jesus will come, to be sure, but not on May 21, 2011. You mentioned the rebirth of Israel as the start of the time frame, but you forget that while God surely did restonre the Jews to their covenant homeland as promised, they didn’t have Jerusalem until June of 1967, after the Six Day War. Other prophecies with regard to Israel are being fulfilled even at the hour, and in other parts of the world, events are shapping up for that wonderful day. I look up each day and think to myself today might be the Rapture, and at night, I go to bed with a prayer for the peace of Jerusalem and salvation and protection over Israel. And this ol’ lady has been around awhile, so I’m staying alert, and studying the Word, to keep my mind and heart clear and open to God only. I speak the truth of the Bible about these matters at every opportunity, and you provided me with a really good one. Maranatha!
