It is what it is.. and fortunately, for this kid, a few caring people where there when he most needed them and THAT is all that counts here.
My brother was 10 when our Dad died. Just saying!
To their great credit, the Target employees took the lad under their wings and helped him learn to fly for himself.

Read the book, period. Then you’ll want to see the movie. I cried when I heard of Louie’s death. What a life he led. What a story from the last great generation. The WWII vets are disappearing fast.

I got one of those ‘letters’ when I started advertising on Rush in Dallas. They claimed that Rush had asked for nude pictures of Sandra Fluke on the radio – a bold faced lie. I replied that I would stop if they could supply tape of that request (I know it didn’t happen because I heard the entire Sandra Fluke thing.) Never heard another thing from them. Hey Rush, make it a class action suit. There are enough people out there that could join!

How else are you going to discuss demographics. If other teams have bigger fan bases and attract more middle-class whites to the game making the franchise more profitable, it is a legitimate conversation. If a team is in a dangerous neighborhood for whites, I’m unlikely to want to go often , , , and neither does my longtime black girlfriend. She won’t go anyplace where ‘her own kind’ amass. She doesn’t wanna get hit by a stray bullet.
Well that would stop it wouldn't it.
As we used to say "too much like right".
Problems and crises make the world go round in some peoples minds so they like to perpetuate them.
Islam believers do not assimilate into their new country just the opposite. The gather in population then start dictating to the people how not to offend them.
Islam does not mesh or coexist with our Constitution, they use it against us. Send them packing and quick their warriors are already here.
The silence from them about the beheadings is deafening!!!

MLK was a republican, do a little research before making ignorant comments

In the upside-down country you can’t tell the truth and get away with it. Wanna bet most of his fellow officers feel the same way.
A lot of good that did for Dale Earnhardt, Adam Petty, Kenny Irwin, J.D. McDuffie, Clifford Allison, and many others.
jeanr, remember, sometimes the answer is "no".
Kind of makes the whole thing pointless then.
So because sometimes the answer is no negates all the times the answer is yes?
No. My point is if God is omnipotent and he already knows what is going to happen (or can control what happens) and he knows what is best for us (when is answer is 'no') what is the point in asking him for anything if he already has his mind made up and/or put events into motion?
Good grief jean, you think prayers are just for asking for things like some three year old? If you're going to criticize religion you ought to know something about it.
Do you watch racing? The prayers always are to give thanks and then to ask for the safety of all of those there. Every race. Every time. This request is made. So, while I understand not all prayers are to ask for something, in this case, they are.
"jeanr, remember, sometimes the answer is “no”."
You would have this same effect if you prayed to your dog. The answer will always be yes, no, wait. Prayer is an illusion.
Luc, prayer is for the person praying. It gives that person comfort. It is exactly like praying to a dog, except their is a glimmer of hope and faith that something may come of it. It may or may not, but that makes no difference to the religious.
jeanr, you're right. What is the point if the outcome is preordained? The point is hope is given, even where there is none. But people of faith don't really care of the outcome, only that they ask for a blessing.
Hey, Luc, ask your boss for a raise. The answer will ALWAYS be yes, no, wait. Just who is your boss?
Or you can do nothing...and the answer will be yes, no, or wait.
Luc, very true.

Go find Rendezvous, a similar film shot in the early Sunday morning hours in Paris in the 1960 in a Ferrari. Music was the sound of the motor. Ran a ton of red lights to do it.

Those who would like to send the ‘facts’ to Barabra Fair may email her through People Against Injustice at Peopleagainstinjust@earthlink.net. hard as it is to believe it, this is a group that supposedly fights for people unjustly accused of crimes. Unbelieveable hypocracy!
Inundate her with the truth about Treyvon, the ‘Thug in Training.”

Those morons in the whitehouse didn’t know that daring us to photoshop the picture would cause us to have so much fun. What they don’t realize is that so what if there is all of a sudden a picture, what we doubt is that he “does it all the time!” This guy is a pansy. Rides a bike with a bell, throws like a girl. It’s all just damage control.
AND, when is the last time you saw a skeet shooter shooting almost level. Aren’t they usually somewhere around 45 degrees

This is written by someone who does not understand how fracing is done nor that the claims of groundwater pollution continue to be discredited. Just where are all of these contamination sites?

You mean all of this time when I got up and dug into whatever project i was working on, I could of instead stayed on the couch and watched TV because I had a few good teachers and mentors along the way and would have been successful anyway. Gawd, I feel stupid.

Everything is relative. Do you grab a grocery cart without using the disinfectant wipes stores now supply. This is one of the dirtiest things you can handlle. I would guess that a well run Chuckee-cheese would be no better or worse than a well run daycare center.
Yeah, I've noticed those convenient wipes. Yet I've been shopping at different stores for nearly 50 years now and until just this year never even thought about washing my hands before grabbing a cart.
Just how silly have we become? Maybe we should simply don disposable gloves prior to leaving the house while putting a mask over our mouths and noses for good measure. We've morphed into a nation of pansies. Of course I'm still laughing about the Charles E. Fromage problems - a dad and son pooping in the ball pool - unbelievable!! What I mean is I don't believe it happened.
They supply what now? I'm surprised they don't make you bring your own recycle-able shopping cart.
The wipes are for the cart, not your hands. The filthiest things are stuff you touch every day. Money is crawling with germs. Your computer mouse is more infested than the one crawling around in your walls. Phones are laden with germs reaching out to touch someone. The worst offender? Probably ladies purses. Most people don't pay much attention to where they set down their purse. Many set them on the floor wherever they are, even in the public restrooms. Then they come home and put it on the counter. Yummy.
Okay, now realize that germs are everywhere and while being reasonable about washing your hands and such is smart, we cannot (and should not) sanitize the world. Remember War of the Worlds? The human body is designed to deal with these germs. They make us stronger.

Permits don’t mean they are ready to drill. For example, there might not be sufficient infrastructure in the area, or there may not be producable oil under the permit.

Ypou obviously don’t know anything abpout fracing. It does not endanger ground water nor aquifers. It’s been used for 70 years. Where are all of the polluted wells and aquafies. Fracing is done way below the water table. Only those that know nothing about it are against it. When you fuel prices doulbe in the next few years and we have blackouts . . .
