I might also add that what we refer to as ‘racist’ can also be generalized with the words, ‘prejudiced’ or ‘discrimination’. When you get right down to it, before the term ‘racism’ came into being, those words were widely used …..and they don’t necessarily refer to color. Even white people refer to certain other whites as ‘white trash’ or ‘trailer trash’…..obviously indicating a feeling of revulsion toward such people, although certainly not on the level that discrimination toward blacks has been practiced historically. Nevertheless, this whole subject gives us all an opportunity to reflect on our own innermost feelings and to take stock of where we stand when it comes to our fellow human beings, regardless of color or social standing. There are other forms of discrimination such as ‘class distinction’, directed at the poor who are usually despised and distrusted by others who are further up the social ladder. We all need to take a good hard look at ourselves and ask ourselves if we are guilty of any leanings toward discrimination whether racial or otherwise.

The way these cops acted they just added fuel to the fire across the country and are a shame and a disgrace to their department. How do they think the public is going to respond when they show their a$$es like they did and it’s no wonder the public is turning more and more against law enforcement. They also seem to forget who pays their salary and seem to think they are above the law. Hmmm….reminds me of the usurper in the WH.

Actually she reminded me of me:) Of course I’m an old lady now, but my five adult children will never disrespect me….. I often tell them, hey, I’m still the mom!
When my late hubby and I were raising the kids, a good hiding or getting grounded was enough to make them toe the line…..otherwise they would have run roughshod over us. Fortunately it paid off for us because they are all very productive members of the community.
Too many parents want to be their kids friend…..it doesn’t work that way….you have to be the parent and let them know who is the boss. They’ll get their turn when they have their own kids.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Dear Rabid……your post is excellent and hits the nail on the head. I wish there was some way you could post it so that ignorant educated fool of a principal could read it and get the message…..maybe it would serve to get her off her high horse.

Glenn has proven himself to be chronically naive or deliberately ignorant…..I don’t know which… but I will say that this is not the first time he’s made a fool of himself by spouting off about things when he should keep his mouth shut. He already stated one day on radio that he had friends who were ‘gay’ …..this was to emphasize his sympathetic position toward gays because of the gay bashing that was going on at the time. It’s obvious he’s a gay sympathizer and takes the position that gays can’t help what they are. Well like it or not Glenn, YOU are wrong because they have a free will like the rest of us and can choose what kind of lifestyle they adopt.
Sorry Glenn, you need to do some serious bible study if you want to learn about homosexuality.
I’m still peeved at The Blaze ….which Beck owns…..for writing that article critical of Pat Robertson’s remark telling an email questioner they shouldn’t attend their child’s gay wedding because it would show they were supporting it.
Frankly this latest jab at Ben Carson has really lowered my opinion of Beck.
Glenn, you are not perfect and certainly not in a position to be throwing barbs at people who demonstrate Christian principles.

I totally agree with what you say and I was wondering the same thing myself. Personally I interpreted The Blaze article as a definite jab at Pat Robertson for his reply to the email question, and I think the implication of the article is in very poor taste. I happened to watch the show on tv this past Thursday, and as a Christian I know exactly what Pat Robertson said/meant…..he is true to his Christian beliefs and fortunately doesn’t come across as a lukewarm Christian the way the Pope does by inviting homosexuals into the church.
As an aside, PGehrmann is obviously confused and took your post out of context as his post indicates below. Then the reply to that by the next poster was also taken out of context……thinking you meant Pat Robertson was doing a hit job on the email question. Come on folks….get it straight:)

Even that long ago they knew about brain removal…..Wow! I guess the nincompoops have an excuse now since the art was passed down over the centuries and is used prolifically today.

Maybe if some of these kidnappers were targeted themselves, it would give them something to think about. Perhaps an involved parent could find out the name of the CPS worker who maliciously kidnapped a child and turn the tables on them.
It looks like the only way this practice is going to stop is when the public at large starts getting involved. These agencies operate as a government unto themselves and so the individual state governments need to be called on to intervene. Maybe with enough pressure from their constituents, they’ll step in and start earning their salaries that are paid for by hard earned tax dollars.

ellietoo…………you are exactly right I agree 100%.

I thought the very same thing about New England’s Puritan roots until I realized that there’s a lot of liberal influence in that area.
If they ever did a survey about liberal’s spirituality, I think they’d find it lacking.

I’m glad I live in the “Bible Belt”.
Go North Carolina!

Let’s send all the politicians to fight the war. Maybe they’ll have some idea of what it’s like being used as cannon fodder.

Why hasn’t he been tried for TREASON? Well because we’ve got a Congress that is scared to death of criticizing him in case they are called racists. They care more about being labeled racists than they do about watching someone annihilate this country.
Oh….and of course we’ve got no law makers who are patriotic enough to care one way or the other as long as they get to stuff their pockets with money from all the lobbyist scoundrels.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that ‘DOWN’ sign.
 February 19, 2015 at 6:11pm
Exactly! It’s called having a double standard.
February 19, 2015 at 6:09pm
It would have been completely ignored by white officials.

I’m so glad you pointed that out about parents needing to become active in their child’s learning because I think that is key. Too many parents register their kids in public school and detach themselves from then on, leaving it up to the schools to do the job that they as parents should be doing. I know many of them complain that they can’t home school because of having to hold down a job, but there are resources out there to help home schoolers. I’ve read that there are home schooling parents who will take in other kids and I think there’s an organization that exchanges information regarding how to home school. I’m not entirely sure about all this but do remember reading something about it a long time ago when someone wrote about it in one of the comment sections. Since all my children are adults now, I didn’t take note of the details.
In my area, there are parents who attend the same church who are all involved in homeschooling their kids as a group. They will use church rooms to have group classes sometimes, and parents will take turns taking all the kids on field trips. They basically support each other and pool their resources. They also have all kinds of different software programs available now.
I know some parents who take turns throughout the week. Each family takes a day to have all the kids so they may do their work.
If a family really wants to home school they can. I work full-time and my mom home schools my son. I take a role in tutoring him in subjects that I specialize (Language Arts, History and Science), my dad tutors him in Math and any mathematical areas , and my mom helps tutor him in the rest. When a family works together it can be accomplished. The old saying that it takes a community to raise a child is true in that when you have families that agree in values and learning, together they can raise productive adults who think for themselves.

I am inclined to look for a more sinister motive for the school taking the approach they did. We all agree that Gabi looked extremely elegant in that dress, regardless of what those moron school officials say. I think behind it all is yet another ploy to exert their authority over the students in order to indoctrinate them into being not only subservient, but also to cripple their self esteem. Gabi already admitted she was very embarrassed, yet she had nothing to be embarrassed about, so it’s proof that they made her feel like crap in order to get the desired effect. I mean, look at what goes on in the schools nowadays! Even little bitty kids are censored for everything.. and even suspended for biting a pop tart into the shape of a gun….for crying out loud!!!! So this is not about Gabi’s appearance being too alluring, it was done to exert authority by controlling any form of self expression.
The leftists won’t be satisfied until they create a generation of robotic human beings.

At least these pictures didn’t show any injured or dead American servicemen which is good. I just wish somehow they could identify some of the places and some of the men though. However I have to say looking at them brought a lump in my throat knowing they’d never been seen before and how many of those men are probably dead and gone now.
I have old pictures of my home town after bombing raids during WWII so I can relate to the time period. I grew up as a child during WWII in England so it all makes the memories flood back. It was a terrifying time and the deprivation etc. was horrendous.
As for socialism, I’ve lived through that too and know how dehumanizing it is. I was fortunate in being able to come to America after meeting my husband (now deceased) while he was stationed in England in the mid 1950′s. I will also celebrate the 50th anniversary this year of my becoming an American citizen and it grieves me deeply seeing what is happening to America right now. I’m almost glad my late husband isn’t alive to see it because he was so patriotic and loved this country. He used to say to me before we left England…”wait until you get to God’s country…” He always referred to America that way, as many of the GI’s did back then.

What a panty waist professor he is……he shouldn’t be allowed to teach. He has obviously no sense of honor himself or he would have failed every one of them.
Well…..this is the generation that will take over the responsibility of the country and the future already looks bleak.
