  As a former den leader, cubmaster,assistant scout master, scoutmaster, and father of an Eagle Scout, allow me to say this. if they pass this, do NOT, I repeat NOT put your boy in scouts! Think of this on a practical level. What about tent assignments? What about shower rooms? What about two scouts off in the woods? How am I supposed tomonitor this so that no scout is offended or harmed? We could go to all individual tents, and showers, but that would mean revamping every scout camp in america $$$$, and totally put the k-bosh on commradery . Also I cannot hope but believe that this is an incrementalist ploy, they will be back next year demanding “equal rights”for adults.! When Canada did this it decimated membership, but in truth that is what they want, to kill anything that is good so they can replace it!

• What’s So Special About Home Ownership?

  O.K. folks, first allow me to say that property ownership is good, for some of us. I am a tradesman, and am able and desirous of repairing and maintaining my own home. I also live in an area where I can still do so. However; I work in peoples homes all of the time, so I get to see a lot of things, like the shock in parents eyes when I tell them , 2 days before Christmas, that their furnace is dead, that will be $3000.00 please. Or people who are “house poor”, yes they can make the payments, and repairs, but would rather travel or spend their weekends riding bikes, motorcycles, or horses, not mowing, trimming, and painting, these people should definitely NOT own a home, it is a burden, not a blessing to them

  Changes in the economy, society, and the government have changed property ownership from an economic advantage, to an economic burden for many people. A house is in most cases, at best, a storehouse of wealth, not an investment, the same or better rate of return can be seen from paper investments. If you want a home, or can easily afford a home, by all means buy one, but NO, not everybody should OWN a home!

  The true test of who is causing the problem for the Palestinians is this: Most of the Palestinians are Muslim, some are Christian. If the Israeli government were the problem than they would be treating Muslims and Christians in other parts of Israel poorly also, they are not. Israel is referred to as a “Jewish State” yet Muslims, Christians and even Atheists in other parts of the country are endowed with the privileges , rights and responsibilities of FULL CITIZENSHIP, a privilege not extended to Christians , Jews and athieists in Muslim countries. The problems and hardships that are being faced by the Palestinian people are caused by their leadership and the hate they teach!

  In the immortal words of star wars”IT’S A TRAP!” I will believe they are serious when they will ban professors who ridicule religion and believers, and when Christian professors are not force to “keep quiet”. This is nothing but an attempt to get kids away from Christian Colleges to get their money and to loop them into their great secularist melting pot. The reason why so many loose their faith in college is that the colleges set it up that way, this is just an extension of the plan!

  This is quite simple, The Republican party has to ditch the progressives which comprise the leadership of the party then, as Demint says get somebody who can communicate! Conservative also need a plan. Progressives were very patient, the slowly took over the schools, the media,the govt., the society. We need a plan to work conservative values back into these areas and break the stranglehold.
