  We rented a house frm a friend in a high end area for a year. It was maddening….. Every time we needed a plumber or work done, we got gouged big time.

  I am constantly amazed by the skewed world view held by liberals, the UN, and unaware people in general. The US is not great because we are greedy pigs. We are great because we are free. Nine times out of ten, poverty exists in countries that are ruled by thug dictators. When people are relatively free to manifest their desires, you have a thriving, happy people. I taught ESL for years – Believe me, not one person ever came to the US because of its infrastructure (you didn’t build that — lol).

  I was in Denny’s awhile ago and a Muslim was praying in the aisle. Not just quietly, but loudly chanting over and over for about 15 minutes. I will admit, it creeped me out. People had to squeeze by him as he took up most of the aisle. I was worried he was praying before the bomb went off. lol
