We have spent billions of dollars educating teachers and school administrators and $0 teaching them to defend and protect our children. Hiding kids in a closet or bathroom is not defending them, and running away from a gunman just gets you shot in the back. We probably ought to be looking at what Israel had done to protect their children in schools. This guy was an amateur compared to the brotherhood, or AL-quid a who we are likely to be dealing with in the near future.
