Federal payroll + benefits, by any accounts that I’ve seen is equal to < 5% of the ENTIRE FEDERAL BUDGET. There's still 95% of the Budget to be pissed about that has NOTHING TO DO WITH FEDERAL WORKERS.
Combine that with this comedy about 1.2% vs 1.3% and I have to wonder if Blaze is splitting hairs, being penny-wise and pound foolish, and ignoring the real problem – ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS and DEFENSE SPENDING.

This is why I drive a Chevy Volt – because I actually understand the geopolitical and economic implications of gasoline, and refuse to be brainwashed by the LEFT or RIGHT wing media. Think for yourselves people. This article is proof positive that we’ve been sending money, blood, and back door deals to the middle east for the past 40 years so that you can splurge on that outdated, flammable islamic gas guzzler sitting out in your driveway.

Get your food storage in place, folks. Expand on it, if you’ve already started.

1.2% versus 1.3%…..wow what a great time. Enough of your class warfare.

If they’re going to do this, then they may also want to consider going after the French leadership that, along with their counterparts from African military units, raped and plunder Italian and German women and children in the early days following the end of the war.
Yes, and let's not forget the largest ethnic cleansing episode in history, the forced expulsion of over 13 million ethnic Germans from their ancient homelands in East Prussia, Eastern Germany, parts of Poland, the Sudentenland and other areas of Czechoslovakia, as well as from Hungary and even Rumania after World War II ended. At least a 2 million died during these brutal forced ethnic cleansing operations which was dreamed up by Stalin, Churchill, and FDR at Yalta in early 1945. The Czechoslovak President in exile in London was responsible for demanding the brutal expulsion of 3.4 ethnic Germans from Czechoslovakia from 1945 until 1949. These civilians had nothing to do with the excesses of the SS or the Germany Army. Their ancestors lived in these lands for over 800 years and they lost everything they owned. At least 250,000 of Sudetenland Germans died from beatings, starvation, and shootings in the forced marches they endured from Czechoslovakia into next door Germany and Austria. I post this because there are still people alive who are old and living on pensions who participated in this horrible mass ethnic cleansing after 1945 and they are living today in the homes and apartments of the people they stole and possibly killed to get them for free. There were plenty of crimes in WW II against many peoples. The Nazi's killed 21 million Russian and Ukrainian Orthodox Christians, over 3 million Polish Catholics, many many others in Europe including 6 million Jews.

CatB – if the car blew up or caught on fire with you in it, then you’re in pretty bad shape as that means you would have been unable to remove yourself from the vehicle for 3 weeks. Contrast that with the number of gasoline powered cars that have blown up or caught on fire right at the scene of the accident. Quit being a sheeple, traitor.

TXPILOT – no, it becomes a visible sign to everyone that you actually understand geo-economic and political implications of continuing to buy oil from islamic extremists. It also shows that you enjoy driving a fun car. Having owned a mustang, explorer, thunderbird, corvette, avalon, and integra, my Volt is hands down the funnest most enjoyable car I’ve ever owned.

or a patriot that recognizes they are sending Americans to die, employing muslim extremists (de-employing americans), and forcing tax payers to pay for expensive oil wars when they drive around town on gasoline. It’s okay if you can’t afford to be an early adopter, or want this technology to prove itself before you buy into it, but for petes sakes look at the facts before you open your foolish mouth, traitor.

Don’t forget to include a calculation for all the coal powered electricity that goes into refining oil into gasoline. Anyway – my EV runs on Wind Power as I switched my electricity provider to one that sources from wind farms. FOr me it’s about putting AMERICANS back to work, reducing the number of threat vectors an enemy has towards us, and to quit watching otherwise strong, intelligent americans go overseasa to fight, kill, and die just so I can drive around on cheap $4 islamic gasoline.
December 11, 2011 at 10:06am
I don’t know about that. I like mine, because every mile I drive puts Americans to work, and reduces our dependency on the Mooslims Extremists.

It’s a tax CREDIT. That means the beneficiary has ALREADY earned the money. It’s their money. Not yours, schmuck. Cash for clunkers was an obummer program that was a refund (not a credit). The ev tax CREDIT is republican program that was created and signed off on long ago during a republican administration. Look it up. and quit being a sheeple.

Who pays for the oil wars that are used to ensure you have a stable, reliable stream of gasoline to go into your car.? Who pays for that? WHat about the good American families who’s children have died or become disabled so that you can have that gasoline? How about the compromises that our govt has to make through back door deals with islamic maniacs again all so that you can roll around town on cheap subsidized 4 dollar per gallon gas.
December 11, 2011 at 10:01am
What”s not affordable is me subsidizing all of these oil wars, what’s not affordable is you asking good American families to sacrificing their children in these oil wars so that you can tool around town on cheap, subsidized 4 dollar per gallon gas.
December 11, 2011 at 9:59am
Abbygirl – Because it costs you 5x more per mile to roll around town in your subsidized gasoline than it does for me to roll around town in my USA-made electric car. Tool.

Under Obama, and for the first time since Ronald Reagan, the USA has become a net EXPORTER of oil. We now EXPORT more oil than we IMPORT. Enjoy, sheeple.

“You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning.” -Andrew Jackson
